Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JONJIE Pretty good paint sprayer
Finally just got done using sprayer and was very happy we had it. Pretty good coverage overall. Didn't have some of the issues some of the reviews claimed. It did shoot out lines but that only happened when I ran out of paint. I used it for three days total. Two days I primed whole house (1600 sq ft). Probably could have done in one day but we had to tape a section of house. The other day was to do the ceilings which was 85% popcorn. After running kilz the first day no problem, washed and clean per instructions. Second day, go to prime and it will not prime. Took off the intake basket and it primed and worked well. Cleaned intake basket after soaking all day. Third day, put back on the basket and it still wouldn't prime. Took it off and no problems. It performed well and looking forward to the hvlp mode on other projects. The only issue is the intake basket/filter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Captkirkstny Very happy with my first paint sprayer
I bought this because it is both air and airless operation. I like the versatility. The spray gun is a dual use gun. Takes most brands of spray tips. It comes with two tips. After research, I bought a RAC 517 spray tip at The Home Depot which I think is more suitable for interior walls. I'm not an expert. Never sprayed before. I watched loads of you tube videos on spraying. It turns out to be very easy.
Because it is a dual use gun, not many standard attachments will work. Especially an extension wand. For this reason, I also purchased an inexpensive Ryobi spray gun. That way I can use an extension wand and other attachments. So far I have only used the original gun for airless spraying one room. And it works great! I painted a 10 X 20 room in less than 15 minutes.
Clean up is no big deal. Just read the instructions. I bought more of the conditioning powder packets. One packet comes with the unit.
Very happy with 5 gallon Kilz Pro-x paint too. Excellent quality at a good price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Will Very satisfied with this rig
This paint gun is probably one of the best tools you'll ever hold in your hand but obviously a sprayer is not right for every job. Was very disappointed when HD stopped carrying these, and I would not consider any other brand. You should buy these sprayers new and maintain them PROPERLY and you will be pleased. I have purchased and used this rig in the past and would not consider any other outfit. Again, it is very unusual to get a job where a sprayer is the proper tool for the job but if you need one then this rig the best you'll find for the money. Like any sprayer you MUST keep them very, very CLEAN !!

if you're patient and take the necessary time with the instructions this machine will deliver. important note to the first time airless sprayer user: when you shift from prime to spray; the pump will automatically shut off until you depress the trigger on the gun. the instructions omit this, and consequently i thought i had a defective sprayer lol...so far i have given almost two full coats of a very heavy latex to 32 sheets of panel siding. i sprayed 15 panels and discovered i hadnt increased the pressure from the low prime pressure on the pressure control and it still sprayed the heavy unthinned latex beautifully!!! i give this machine a big two thumbs up!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by edZik Great tool! (if you cannot prime the sprayer read this)
We use to have a paint sprayer from a "very famous sprayers brand name" for a few years. The decision to buy this sprayer from Milwaukee came on the basis of a great brand name for tools and on a very reasonable price for such a list of advantages that this tool offers.
1. Very easy to move around the job site with a 5 gallon paint bucket. Thanks to big wheels and a platform for the bucket with the leak proof lid.
2. Convenient bag to keep all accessories.
3. Heavy duty turbine. Very low noise level compare to competitors.
4. Great combination of airless and HVLP! Love the finish paint option.
5. Very easy to clean.
6. (!) 2 years manufacturer warranty
7. Accepts spray tips from other manufacturers.
I couldn't prime the sprayer at the first time. It would start pumping the air in the bucket from the priming line and a very little of paint. The cure for that problem was very obvious. I've got the clamp on the paint line, that brings the paint from the bucket to the sprayer, tight and that was it!
After that the sprayer worked as a charm! If I would compare this tool to our old "big sprayer brand name" tool I would say that Milwaukee did a great job on this one and we are going to buy one more while it is still on sale. This sprayer works great and when you work using this tool it makes you to feel that you are using a heavy-duty sprayer you can relay on.
Thank you, Milwaukee!

For the average homeowner who likes to do his own work, this machine will get the job done. The Milwaukee works great! I love it! The gun can spray into eaves and soffits directly overhead with no spillage. Follow the instructions exactly,Follow the instructions exactly,Follow the instructions exactly..............READ THE INSTRUCTIONS....I have already got my money worth in time saved. Hopefully the machine will last for many more jobs. Bravo Milwaukee. One thing is when you clean the gun out, when you take the nozzle tip off watch out for the two small parts inside...........had to buy another one........:) I lost mine

We have shiplap siding for our home and wanted to put on a new coat before the weather turns. With the economy, being first time home owners, and now new parents, we did this ourselves. The machine is ridiculously fast and sprayed primer then latex exterior without any problems. This machine is great for big jobs as the priming process itself utilizes probably a cup of paint.
The only drawback is the spraygun itself as it does not accept any add ons or different parts other than the spray tips them selves. I went ahead and purchased a Wagner spray gun just to use the 18 inch extension rod by Graco. Additional cost but saved my legs with the ladder as I was able to spray quite a bit more with just a simple step stool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brushie13 Great product for professional results!
Set up is pretty simple once you get familiar with it the first time. This paint sprayer is a great buy! I used it to paint a pole barn roof with elastomeric (rubberized roof coating for metal roofs). I could paint approximately 800 sq in an hour. The paint sprayer tip would clog but it's not recommended to use in this sprayer. So I can't blame Milwaukee. A quick tip if you've never used a sprayer. If the nozzle does clog just turn the nozzle and back feed the nozzle to unclog it. Just spray the paint away from the project you are working on. It's shoots it out and can make a mess. Milwaukee has a FANTASTIC product support! They are really helpful if you have questions! I can't wait to use it on other projects around the house!
