Will the feed tube fit smaller than 5 gallon buckets IE 1gallon cans?

Can we use Graco spray extension (20"/30") and longer hose with this sprayer?

Since this sprayer M4910-20 has a 3000 PSI rating, is there a reason why extension pole for tip is not provided? Can we use Graco spray extension (20"/30") with this sprayer? Also, is it possible to use a longe high pressurer hose such as 50 ft with M4910-20 ?

I own this unit, and I would not have purchased it if I had known that there are no extension arms which will fit the milwaukee spray gun. I called their technicians and they said the same thing. The only option they said was to go and purchase a graco gun and use their extension. It should only cost you an extra $250.00 or so, but who needs or wants extra money anyway??

Cab this be used to spray outside?

Asked by: Anonymous
I used this sprayer for exterior paint. I would say we ran over 80 gal of exterior paint with this machine in last month.... So, I guess you can. Of course, you don't do it while its raining.

Airless/Fine Finish Paint Sprayer Hub is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 165.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legendary,Great Performance,FAST For the average homeowner who likes to do his own work, this machine will get the job done. The Milwaukee works great! I love it! The gun can spray into eaves and soffits directly overhead with no spillage. Follow the instructions exactly,Follow the instructions exactly,Follow the instructions exactly..............READ THE INSTRUCTIONS....I have already got my money worth in time saved. Hopefully the machine will last for many more jobs. Bravo Milwaukee. One thing is when you clean the gun out, when you take the nozzle tip off watch out for the two small parts inside...........had to buy another one........:) I lost mine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great if you're patient and take the necessary time with the instructions this machine will deliver. important note to the first time airless sprayer user: when you shift from prime to spray; the pump will automatically shut off until you depress the trigger on the gun. the instructions omit this, and consequently i thought i had a defective sprayer far i have given almost two full coats of a very heavy latex to 32 sheets of panel siding. i sprayed 15 panels and discovered i hadnt increased the pressure from the low prime pressure on the pressure control and it still sprayed the heavy unthinned latex beautifully!!! i give this machine a big two thumbs up!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ridiculous We have shiplap siding for our home and wanted to put on a new coat before the weather turns. With the economy, being first time home owners, and now new parents, we did this ourselves. The machine is ridiculously fast and sprayed primer then latex exterior without any problems. This machine is great for big jobs as the priming process itself utilizes probably a cup of paint. The only drawback is the spraygun itself as it does not accept any add ons or different parts other than the spray tips them selves. I went ahead and purchased a Wagner spray gun just to use the 18 inch extension rod by Graco. Additional cost but saved my legs with the ladder as I was able to spray quite a bit more with just a simple step stool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good machine for the price so far. Very good machine for the price you pay. I have not tried the hvlp yet but airless works good once you figure out that first time how to prime it. If you buy this machine and are having problems priming it the first time, be patient and read the directions again and again. Once you figure out how to prime it it is great. When i would move the machine and it would loose its prime you just flip the lever to prime for a few seconds then back to spray and it is good to go. The only reason i did not give it five stars is that the pick up tube has a wierd bend to it so it is kind of hard to keep it at the bottom of the bucket when it starts getting low. Just remember be patient at first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different Look - Great Performance I have been a contractor for about 12 years now. With the economy I have branched out to make a little more money...yes painting! I started side jobs about 3 years ago and yes, like everyone else bought a GRACO. Well my jobs have picked up and it was time to add another sprayer to the truck; Milwaukee brand at $379 for airless and Fine Finish. First I did not know Milwaukee made paint sprayers, but with this brand i know it will last. Second, Airelss and Fine Finish, the only other item I could find like this started at $1700.00 and went up from there. The review is simple. bucket tray instead of a hook, great addition Move the hose instead of tilting the sprayer back, pretty smart I am using this with a 517 tip and spraying unthinned latex and the performance is perfect. Sprayed trim with oil base paint with the fine finish feature and could not believe the results, I did buy a 211 tip (trying to cut down on the overspray). This is a great sprayer! plain and simple, buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used to hate painting Seriously, I used to hate painting. I hated the prep work in order to roll huge sections of wall. I hated doing baseboards with brushes. I hated doing trim. I just plain hated painting. Then, my bid got accepted to do a foreclosure rehab, and the entire house needed to be painted (interior). My father-in-law suggested I rent a sprayer. I figured I would just buy one since I will be painting in the future, and it's a write-off. My wife and I hit our local HD to look at the sprayers. The Milwaukee was on display and looked awesome (especially at only $379.00). My wife took one look and said, "That's the one." When it came time to paint, I bought the Milwaukee and painted the entire interior of a 1500 sq. ft. home (including the ceiling) in 6.5 hours! I was shocked at how easy this sprayer was to use. As a rookie dealing with sprayers, I didn't know what to expect. But once I got the hang of it, I was jammin'. Clean-up was also a breeze. For the price of this sprayer, it can't be beat. Cheap price...but a very professional tool. Bravo Milwaukee. Let me know when you make a pressure washer, I'm sure it will be of the same caliber.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Consumable parts? Like paint gun filter Cleaning it was okay, but I Lost a day finding out there are no Milwaukee airless paint sprayer paint filter parts or replacement hoses -in the entire Houston/Harris County metropolitan area. Burned a tank of gas learning this lesson. Worked the Milwaukee service line phone network to learn all authorized parts dealers will have to order the parts online. I guess I could go home and do that too. This was way to much down time from the actual project. Might be a reason I don't see contractors using Milwaukee sprayers. (Ouch!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great But... This sprayer does a really good job, particularly for large areas. I recently painted a newly constructed barn with T-111 siding 30x40 with 10' walls. The T-111 is "rough cut" and very difficult to paint with a brush. This machine did the entire barn in less than a day. Took about 10 minutes to paint one 30x40x10 side. Most of the time was spent moving and climbing ladders doing the gable ends. Couldn't imagine doing this job with a brush! The set-up and cleaning procedure is quite complex. When I use this sprayer I need to print the instruction on a sheet to to have handy with the rest of my supplies. I suppose if I used it every day I would eventually have them memorized but for the occasional user, you will need to have a check list with you every time.
