One handed opening and closing.
Easy blade changing.
Bright red colored knife easy to spot on the ground, if dropped.
Good pocket clip, although could be better, has came out of pocket twice and lost, but purchased again since such a good knife.

I've had this knife for several years and I use it every day while working. Ocasionally the screws for the part that holds the blade need to be tightened or even the pivot screw, but I use mine every day, so that can be expected. The bright red color is a nice touch as it makes it easy to find quickly when I forget to put it back into my pocket. This is a great knife that is built to last.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Best utility knife I have ver used!
I have been an electrician for 15+ years, as well as an avid DIYer, and outdoor enthusiast and have not found a better knife. It is handy, ergonomic, quick to open with the flick of a wrist. One of the best features and also its worst is the belt clip. The clip is fairly large making it easy to put the knife in your pocket, and unlike many others DOES NOT tear up my pants. Downside is that it is easy to catch on things, bending it and after about a year in my case, finally broke from fatigue. I truly wish Milwaukee would add an extra clip to the pack.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mateo Blade falls out
Initally I liked the knive and enjoyed the quick open function. However, having only owned this for a few months and exchanged 2-3 blades I find it failing. I have just installed a new (sharp) blade and find I can't even slice up a cardboard sheet. As I cut the blade pulls out of the knife. I presumed it may be dirty so I disassembled the section that holds the blade - swapped the spring still - and reassembled the knife. Same problem!! A knife is worthless if the blade never stays. I didn't buy this because it looks cool. I bought it for function.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tommy Fastback utility knife by Milwaukee tool
I'm an apprentice electrician. I use the knife all the time. It's one of those tools you always have on you. I've had mine for over a year and a half now so I guess it doesn't really owe me anything but I've had the screws fall out on me a couple of times. This time one is gone for good. The knife itself works great, however the screws are a pain as they loosen with use and when loose prevent the knife from closing smoothly. If it came with a package of extra screws it would be wonderful. Definitely using lock tight on my next fastback knife.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kris Underwood Great Knife but could be improved.
I use my knife in a warehouse, opening pallets wrapped in shrink wrap. I'm flipping open my knife about 100 times a night, and I have found that doing so has made the screws come loose that hold the blade in, I even lost one. For me the wire stripper only gets caught on the shrink wrap, along with the extra little piece of metal that sticks out at the bottom of the blade holder. I would be happier with a smooth blade holder base. On the up side, I love the weight of the knife, and the all metal design. I don't have to worry about it breaking if I was to drop it. I have had this problem in the past with other knives.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mint Best Utility knife I''ve used to date
I search for quality & craftsmanship in almost all products I buy, rarely do I write reviews unless I feel a product truly deserves it. I'm a cabinet installer, I've tried most knives available and use them for altering and carving panels, shimms, stock, trim, moldings etc.. This knife fills the niche wonderfully, best precision and control I've seen, when I'm up on the step ladder setting my cabinets I can operate it w/ one hand unlike other knives. Also, I prefer this model over the Fastback2 because it's thinner, and I can wield it w/ more precision for those fine cuts.
