I love all the Milwaukee Tools, and this radio was no exception. I picked it up several days ago on sale, and put in the AA batteries, and an M18 battery. I let it play all day long outside on the beach while having company over. I also fiddled with it for several hours the night before, all on the same charge. Sound quality is excellent, only distorts at high volume if you use the equalizer, and crank the bass.
The 3.5mm cable is pretty short, but I discovered tonight it unplugs inside, so I swapped it for a 10 foot cable. Using this cable lets me swap out our Bose iPhone dock/TV Speaker. The Bose cost $350. in comparison, the Milwaukee is cheaper and sounds better in my opinion.
It's a must have for the shop and for outdoor enthusiasts like me!

Received this radio in a timely fashion via Home Depot's free shipping as the local HD was out of stock. At $99.00, it is a good deal, but would be even better if the unit could recharge the 18 volt batteries. Milwaukee has solved this problem with their latest jobsite radio (don't like the styling of the new one though and it is well over 2x the price of this one). I have ordered a separate Bluetooth receiver (which the newer version has built in already) and will try to connect it to this nice looking radio once I receive it later this month. When I do, I will report on it's effectiveness with this jobsite radio.
Until then, classical tunes will keep me happy from the local radio station. Reception and volume seem excellent so far. And so far, no problems!

Easy to tote around, good and solid with very few "easy to break" parts. Great sound. And shoot, it has a bottle opener.

It had decent reception and I was pretty happy with it, considering I bought it on sale at $99. One day it was working, the next day it was not. It would turn on, the volume would go up and down but there was no sound from any of the modes. It never got wet or beat up at all. I did some research and this is common for this radio apparently.

No it doesnt charge batteries or have ac outlets, its not a huge deal. it sounds good, the mp3 hookups are nice, and it does charge via USB.
I used this radio with an M12 battery. it lasted about 6 ours on a single 12v m12 battery, even at high volumes. now thats impressive to me. use an m18 or m24 battery and itll likely last all day if not several days. that alone is worth buying a battery and charger alone.

The radio is loud and has good quality sound. The interior compartment door is weatherstripped and tight. The compartment holds the batteries and your MP3 player. There is a USB charging port for when your plugged in. It will keep your player/cell phone charged while listening. The problem I have with mine is the red color on some of the panels turned almost salmon or pink color from the sun. Clearly UV fading is an issue. This happened within a couple of weeks from purchase. Otherwise I would have given this item a 5 star rating...
