Answer:
This is an M12 screwdriver. This tool is made for finer finish work and has more control but less power and speed. The M12 impact is going to be for driving down fasteners with greater force.

Answer:
The driver comes with a charger, unless you buy a bare tool. The batteries will not charge on DeWAlt Chargers and I am not aware that there is a universal charger available.

Answer:
Not sure quite what you are asking, but one should only use a Milwaukee-brand charger specifically designed for charging the M12 batteries. Lithium-ion batteries can combust if overheated or overcharged.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 95 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent tool I have a few days using the tool but so far I am very pleased, especially because it is very light for work electrician, very comfortable to work September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best drill yet I am a professional electrician that owns my own company. I have purchased 4 of this drills first 1 in June 2010 when they first came out it finally gave out after I dropped in a pan of water but ran for almost a year after that still have all the original batteries and they hold a charge. These drills are used everyday I have used these to plug and switch jobs and they can be used with drill bits. I am on my way to purchase a new one plus Milwaukee has best warranty on market and repair tools within a week and back in your possession and ready to use. I own nothing but Milwaukee tools and drill was 99 in 2010 and price is still the same. April 24, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lasted Less Than 6 Months... Got this driver less than 6 months ago and have loved using it until the clutch retainer ring broke and popped loose. The driver is still technically functional, but I have to compress the retainer ring with one hand while twisting the clutch with the other any time I need to adjust. Gets pretty annoying and inconvenient when in the middle of a project. Based on other reviews, I'm hoping that my driver was just the exception. I tried to return/replace with Home Depot last weekend but I'm outside of their 90 day window and would charge me $20 just to take a diagnostic look at it... not worth it for the cost of the tool. Guess i'll look at other brands in the future. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tough guy Amazing power for a small go anywhere drill. Drives screws in wood like much larger and heavier drills. Battery life is excellent and I'm still using the original M12 battery after years of use. Best cordless drill I have ever owned! Quick connect 1/4" hex drive makes it extra handy when changing bits. Love this thing. June 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEST CORDLESS DRILL I HAVE EVER OWNED... BEST CORDLESS DRILL I HAVE EVER OWNED AND I HAVE 4 OTHERS. I WILL USE THE HECK OUT OF IT. June 7, 2016
