I got one of these at work, and was so pleased with it I got one for my home. This drill/ driver is very powerful, it charges quickly, and the chuck makes it very quick and easy to change bits by hand. The batteries last a long time, and with two of them I think it would be difficult to run out of power. It has an LED that illuminates your work. And it's small enough to easily fit in my tool bag. It does not come with any bits, so those must be purchased seperately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact, Light Duty Drill I've had this drill since 2012 and it's still alive. I do have the older aluminum gear case, though. This drill is not made for driving wood screws longer than about 3". It could use more power. It preforms well where a full-size drill can't fit. I mostly use it for light tinkering around the house and it satisfies. When (and if) this drill fails, I'm upgrading to the 1/2" hammer version with an XC battery.

Mine stopped working after three months of light use. Since it was still under warranty I called Milwaukee to get a replacement. They handled everything very poorly at this point. I had to drive it an hour each way into the city to drop it off at one of their dealers. After three months of waiting. I was finally able to go pick it up. What a joke. Drill breaks under warranty, and they make the customer suffer some more.

I was looking for a lighter weight reciprocating saw to use with Pruning Reciprocating Saw Blades. I use the pruning rep saw blades for tree trimming, trail maintenance and clearing. I use a Bosch CRS180 because of the 18V 6Ah batteries. And I just got an 18V Hackzall in the 9Ah bundle. With the included 2Ah batteries I get about 12 minutes of total run time per battery in a tool I can use one handed - I can spend about 45 minutes walking and trimming. I plan to get a couple of the M12 6Ah batteries for longer run times.

I like the light-weight drill/driver and the light that helps in dark places, such as in new kitchen cabinets! It has plenty of power for most of my needs and I do much of my own work, from hanging drywall to laying floors and mounting cabinets. Haven't really tried the hackzall yet, but compared to a full-size sawzall, it will no doubt be kinder to my smaller hands and wrists. The compact size will also have advantages in tight areas. I also plan to use it for small tree limb trimming. The batteries for these items charge quickly, are light and a nice size for the tools they power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy tool This tool has performed in my various home projects and has really impressed me. I’ve used it to cut hardwood, PVC, wire mold, card board, fiber glass etc. It’s conveniently sized. Battery power indicator and LED are really handy. Pressing the trigger is directly proportional to the speed and that’s how you control it. Changing blades work like plug-n-play and requires no tools. Keep in mind that this is TOOL ONLY; you still have to buy a battery for it unless you already have one. Battery will not come with the charger, so if you buy the battery then you have to buy the charger too. I would recommend buying Tool & Battery as a kit and save some money.
