Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jimbo Additional batteries for my Unisex X-Large Black M12 Lithium-Ion Cordless Milwaukee Ripstop Heated Vest Kit
These are additional batteries for my heated vest. Fully charged each battery lasts me about 2 hours. Note vest has 3 heat settings so batteries may last longer. Vest also from Home Depot. Great brand, great vest, great rechargeable batteries. Life saver over the winter months when working out doors.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MilwaukeeToolsUser Replaced NiMh Batteries with M12 Batteries
I purchased the batteries as spares to a new drill, and to replace an old drill that used NiMh Batteries. I now have two tools that use these M12 batteries. They have a significantly longer life and appear to have more power than I expected, and they recharge quickly. The M12 batteries and associated tools are the best performing combination I've had the pleasure of using

Milwaukee has a reputation for making quality tools. That's why I purchased their M12 Cordless Multi-Tool last year for a home remodeling project. It was definitely the right tool for the job. The battery powered the multi-tool for 10 min of continuous use before it needed to be recharged. I had hoped for more endurance from the battery but it recharged in 30 min. Not too inconvenient. With the job done, I put the multi-tool, battery and charger away for a year.
When I took the multi-tool out for another project this week, the battery was drained and refused to charge. Milwaukee's charger showed the M12 battery was faulty.
I expect any tool's battery to last for more than 3-4 uses. The M12 is disappointing.

Normally when the batteries fail they fail within the warranty period...take them in and get a replacement

My crew is REALLY hard on these drills. They get ran 24/7 because we run 3 shifts. When one of the tools break you simply go online to their website, spend a few minutes filling out a form and then they pay for FedEx to ship it to and from and you usually get the tool back in a week. I switched to these from Dewalt and I won't go back.

I have owned many Milwaukee cordless tools over the last 20 years. The batteries and chargers lasted forever. I bought a drill and camera that use the M12 battery. After a few charges the original batteries would not charge, I bought another battery and the same thing happened. I am not sure if it is the batteries or the charger. The charger is being returned for inspection. I also bought an 18 volt drill and the same thing is happening. Very Very disappointed.
