M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 3/8 in. Hammer Drill/Driver Kit is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch tool I had my doubts at first, then I did my homework on these, everyone has said that this was a great little hammer drill and they were right, I used it to drill through 5 inches of cement, 2 rows of bricks and this tool just went through with ease, I highly recommend this to anyone who has to do any little jobs that don't require a large drill, you won't be disappointed with this tool, I have drilled quite a few holes with this before the batteries ran down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely awesome. This drill is GREAT. Took it on a missionary project overseas and used (abused) the heck out of it. Drilling, screwing etc. Used it to drill through 16" thich very hard concrete. Could not beleive how well it held up. Never over heated and did a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big punch in a small package First off this is not a massive tank of a hammer drill. This is not for the professional drilling 3/4" holes in masonry all day. That's ok, because that's not what it was designed for. This is however a premium tool designed for lighter duty tasks. Make no mistakes, this is not a toy. It's size is deceiving. I do a lot of woodworking and prefer a hammer drill in a lot of cases. Some wood species like hard maple and ash burn very easily with high speed drilling. I've found a hammer drill works exceptionally well at slower speeds - especially with counterbore drill bits. The driver portion works well also. I really like the compact size and quick battery charging. the battery live is more than acceptable given it's size. Previously if you wanted a hammer drill, you needed something twice this size. This is a great product for people who need to get into tight spots, Milwaukee continues to deliver top notch quality in all of their products. In my shop, If it turns a screw or a drill bit, it says Milwaukee on it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Power in a little Drill The little drill is powerful. I used on assembling my kids wood swing set. The Lithium battery held up the whole project from the latter to the deck. Before that I used it on Mounting a electric box on the side of my block house. The hammer drill worked great plenty of hammer power. So four masonry holes and a swing set assembled. Still plenty of power very happy with this drill. I added a video to show how it goes though the block like butter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great addition to the tool box The feel and the size of the handle is better than the drill driver, but the chuck is shorter and bits tend to slip out and the chuck loosens 30% of the time. This is an annoying factor but manageable if you are not working at height off a ladder and your bit drops to the floor. It has great power and battery life for a 12V. The hammer action is good in both new concrete and cured concrete. The hammer action is louder than the Milwaukee SDS 12V that I have, but if its for a few holes it will work fine, just wear your proper safety gear while using this. The pros list is long, the cons is two things: the bit slips out of the chuck to often and the hammer action is surprisingly louder than an SDS drill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb For maybe 10 years I had the Dewalt DW926 9.6 volt drill/driver. I used it for easily 95% of the drilling and driving tasks around the house. Excellent grip, balance, weight, torque, and run time (with the newer XR batteries). I honestly have nothing bad to say about the DW926 except for bits occasionally loosening in the chuck. I had occasional use for a cordless hammer drill and was tempted by the older Milwaukee M12 2411 model. I was further tempted by its lighter weight, greater compactness, ratcheting chuck, battery meter, and LED, but was put off by the grip. The grip was too chunky, making the thing uncomfortable to use versus the DW926. The grip issue has been fixed in the M12 2408 along with the addition of an LED diffuser, a belt clip, and a now friendlier price. So even though I feel almost guilty kicking the DW926 to the curb, SOLD! This Milwaukee M12 drill/driver checks off all the boxes. Next is the M12 2420 Hackzall which is a beautifully designed tool for which I have all kinds of uses.
