Does this come with a case to store it in?

No, not with the tool-only version listed here. The kit version of this tool that can be found here on the site here, model # 2426-22, has a soft contractor bag included in it.

Do u make a 12volt 3/8" variable speed ratchet that reverses?

Asked by: Sparky
Forward/reverse is chosen via the selector in the head. Speed is determined by how much you pull the trigger. It's definitely as fast as my corresponding 12V impact, but that's not very concerning to me.

The Bosch and Dremel blades will work with this Milwaulkee M12 multi-tool head & also with the supplied adapter that comes with the multi tool....but I found putting the blade directly on the tools head is a tighter fit. also....when using the head you can put the blade on at 5 different angles to the tool, left, 45 to the left, straight up, 45 to the right & right, (with the supplied adapter it can only be used left, straight and to the right.) This I found nice as I was able to use more of the blades surface without the tool being at a weird angle while working, it's also able to get into tight areas with the different angles.

I wanted the M18 version of this but none of the local stores carried it so I wound up getting this after seeing the specs indicate you can drill a 1" hole in wood with a spade bit. I tested it out with some Bosch Daredevil spade bits. The 1" bit bogged down a bit and it took multiple attempts of reversing and starting over to get the hole through. The 3/4" daredevil bit went through each time. I don't think I'd recommend purchasing this tool if you primarily intend to use it bore holes in framing. That's what the Milwaukee Hole Hawg is for. This is a nice right angle drill to use in tight spaces for driving screws with the occasional use of boring larger holes. I purchased a right angle adapter for a regular drill but that was garbage that stripped gears after the first or second hole. This works a lot better than that but it's not what you'd want to use to rough in a hole house. If you don't mind the wait of ordering the M18 version of this has more torque. I wound up getting this because it was in stock, I have M12 batteries and it should suit my needs. I'm running some communications cables and I have a larger Milwaukee cordless right angle drill to bore the larger main holes but I needed something small and light that could get into tight spaces so I can drill down through the top plate with a 1/2" or 5/8" bit to feed the wires down to the wall plate. This is working fine for that. The LED work light is very important and illuminates the drilling area well. I really like how it flashes red when it clutches out instead of turning with the clutch disengaged and making that annoying noise. It's a good right angle drill but I think the owner's manual is a little optimistic when it claims it can do 1" holes with a spade bit. 3/4" went fine.

I've only owned this for a few weeks but it's already saved me several hours. Great for trimming molding, dowel rods, flashing, etc. especially in tight places. The only downside is that the cutting/grinding/sanding tools are pricey.

I tried to drill 3/4" holes into new 2x6's for electrical wires as some of the spaces between the studs were very tight, I used a self feeding bit & then a spade bit, this drill just stalled with both. I ended up using a their m12 hammer drill driver, it was slow going but got the job done. I also used that same drill for drilling into 60 yr old 2x10's with a 1 1/8" self feed bit for installing #2 AL wire for a sub panel, where the full sized right angle AC powered drill would just "walk" all over the place to start and then almost threw me off the ladder once it dug in, again a little slow going but the hammer drill got the job done safely & without the cord getting in the way. I'll keep this drill for smaller projects like installing cabinets & putting knockdown furniture together as well as building cases with drawer slides. I guess I expected too much from this little guy?

Worked great for drilling but when I dialed the clutch down for driving a screw the clutch did not work. Even on the number 2 setting the chuck turned at full torque. I figured it was defective so I took the tool back to the store along with my fully charged battery to find a drill with a working clutch. No luck with every drill on the shelf. All of them had non existent clutches. Very disappointing because I have several M12 tools that I really like and it would have been great to have a right angle drill in my set.

More torque than you expect and battery lasts longer than expected as well. Works almost anywhere a manual ratchet does. No torque adjustment so be careful with small fasteners especially in aluminum or plastic. Portable and cuts job time significantly. Everyone should have one. My father in law has had one for years and it has performed like a star. I've invested in Ryobi tools and batteries for years and for years waited for them to come out with anything close to this. No such luck. I finally broke down and bought one.
