Customer Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to change It's just really hard at times to push the tabs in and get the battery out. Surprised nobody has commented on this before. I guess I'm used to other brands where the battery locking system is easier to use, but I don't expect such a common activity to be so awkward. April 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Batteries are stamped!!! Receipt needed I have been using The M-12 Driver/Drill as well as the Mspect tool. I really like the size and weight, but please remember to keep your receipt. I purchased and returned three batteries to the service center. They tested bad and the date stamped on them was prior to when I pruchased the tools and batteries. There was a need to produce a receipt, that I did not find, and I was without batteries, and had to buy more. Remember to keep your receipt as sometimes these units stay on shelves and the batteries expire per the stamped date rahter than the time you register your tool(s). It was frustrating, but I still like the tools...Fool me once... November 28, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Is it the Battery or the charger So several months ago I sent an email in requesting help with my battery charging issues, unfortunately there has been no response. I will express my concern here and now even further issues. I purchased two new batteries today and they to be damaged as well. The charger flashes red and green with both the new and original batteries. The question I have now is it the charger or the batteries? Not impressed at all. Replaced my larger battery drill today with Makita. April 18, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor battery life after having and using this tool for cabiney work I did not use it for a couple weeks when going back to use it I found the batteries were in need of charging (naturally) after several attempts at recharging charger indicated that batteries were dfective I am still wondering how that could be because last time i used it it worked fine.I am reluctant to buy newbatteries in fear that it may be the charger. If you can help I would really appreciate it. I have enjoyed using the tool and hopefully will enjoy it again soon. Thanks June 10, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great tools but very bad batteries I bought 4 tools in total from [@] in Canada. Hack Saw, Impact Driver, Driver, Drill.Didn't use them as much but after 1 year 2 out of 4 batteries are not charging... Total use of batteries maybe 20 hours... Batteries are very poor quality, not keeping charge and have very short lifetime. I am very disappointed with this product, didn't expect it from Milwaukee. I would not recommend buying this product. Batteries are way too expensive and NOT covered by warranty... April 10, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Milwaukee Stands behind their product I had purchased the drill and impact driver at Christmas time, the batteries went dead. I contacted Milwaukee and told them about the problem. They stood behind their product, sent me new batteries and a new charger. I speak very highly of my Milwaukee Tools. This Customer service is unparallel to the competition. And has made me a Milwaukee Tool owner for life. A true Icon for the American Worker. Thanks Milwaukee. February 16, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful Had two of these batteries as part of the M12 cordless driver and flashlight kit. Owned about two years, rarely used. Tried to use it last week, charger indicated both batteries were defective. Left to charge for hours but didn't help. Horrible batteries. Called customer service, was told that since I don't have the receipt there was nothing they could do. Will never buy Milwaukee tools again. March 26, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by poor battery life or defective drill my battery meter on my impact drill reads low batttery so i am asuming the batteries are no good any more after all they dont last as long as they used to. March 25, 2014
