Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TGRRAG Great combination of features performance and size
These tools pack a big punch. Very capable despite their small size. The impact driver drives screws all day long and with great ease. I used it to install a ton of 3" deck screws without any issue. The drill driver is the perfect compliment. It has very good strength and the build quality is fantastic. I especially like the all metal chuck on the drill. Hard to find that on 12v options.
I have to say these are now my go-to tools. There's no need for `8v size and weight anymore with these. They are very strong and work all day long.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rouseman NOT returning these guys
Sorry guys. I couldn't delete or edit my previous Rouseman review. As I was sitting in HD's parking lot ready to return my M12 Drill/Driver combo kit, I decided to give them one last try. With my Dewalt, you can easily load the bit by pushing it into the driver. To remove the bit, you must depress the collet and pull the bit out. With the Milwaukee driver, you MUST pull on the collet to both insert and remove the bit. I'm pretty happy I did not have to return them, because I really liked the way they looked and felt. I just didn't think i would be able to live with the bit falling out. Glad I figured that one out.

I'm a Dewalt man all the way. I've only looked at Milwaukee and Makita as being a step up. For a second I thought I was moving into the big leagues, but I have to agree with BluffStrider. The driver does not hold the bit. It just falls out. I even bought a case of Milwaukee bits and they don't even work. Unfortunately, it will be going back to HD tomorrow. I'm pretty bummed about it. I really thought I was stepping my game up.

Given the other positive reviews, my experience seems exceptional. I bought my first combo kit earlier this week. The 1/4" tools would not click into the collet on the impact driver. Took it back for an exchange this evening. Same symptom on the second one. My project is all spread over my shop floor and I won't progress until next week when my Ryobi arrives from Amazon.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Conley Great pair of Cordless tools
The drill and impact driver are easy to set up and the light weight make them great for my wife to use as well. I will be exchanging all cordless tools for Milwaukee tools.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sbrmn Compact and powerful
I'm a Radon system installer. I was looking for a light weight hammer drill and this one is small and very powerful for it' s size and the impact driver is as strong as any of the 18 volt tools I've used. Lightweight and compact makes it much easier when it comes to high work on the ladder.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by zorrowoman Works Great, holds the charge and is made like a quality drill should be made.
The light stays on a couple of seconds longer which makes a big difference to me. It is lightweight and fits your hand comfortaly enabling you to do better quality workmanship on any project you have.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by joefixit An outstanding tool
I purchased this set specifically for a metal roof repair job and because it was light weight which makes it easier for my wife to handle. After the roofing job, I've decided it is a great set of tools. My wife still gets to use them but I do not think I need anything else. I have driven over a hundred 3 inch deck screws without having to change a battery. On lesser screws it will run all day on a battery. I'm pretty sure it is more powerful and has longer battery life than my Yellow Brand 18V XRP.
We actually bought 2 sets on Black Friday to get an extra charger. The purchase was excellent, perhaps the best tool we have ever bought.
