Answer:
This product will be able to handle the density of concrete, concrete is typically at a pressure density of 3,000 psi, wood is much easier to penetrate. The M12 Palm Nailer may not have enough power to be able to push nails through concrete. So in that regard, we would not recommend this tool for that application.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from With some practice, your pneumatic will become your backup. My first impressions were a bit weary. It definitely has a different feel than a pneumatic, but not necessarily all bad. It does take an extra 1/2 sec. to sink a 16d through a few 2x's, and it doesn't have as much "kick-back," but I've noticed that this tool seems to use fewer blows to sink a nail, which ends up being more efficient. I highly recommend that you pick up a few lbs. of different nails that you use, grab a few scraps from the woodpile, and slam a few hundred "practice" nails so that you can get the feel. Once you do; you'll be more satisfied with this tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from M12 Lithium Palm Nailer by Milwaukee Compared to Craftsman & Ryobi 12v nailers, this thing is a T-Rex. One charge was sufficient to reset all the nails in my 1400+ square foot deck so I could sand and refinish. Battery will NOT set a memory and can't be overcharged. Can be left in charger if forgotten, topped off for a big job, etc. Comes with a Velcro adjustable harness that positions your hand. I removed it and quickly found that the harness greatly assists in the use of the nailer. Sorry Home Depot/Ryobi. I now see why you quit making yours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better then any other cordless palm nailer I bought this as a secondary/backup for my pnuematic palm nailer. I used it a couple of times before really needing it for a deck. It took a while to get used to, as the kick was different to the pnuematic tool. I was pleasantly surprised by it pushing 100 nails before a battery change was required. Pluses: Don't have to haul a compressor For a 12 volt decent battery cycle It does put the nails in quickly for a battery operated tool, about 1.25 times the speed of the pnuematic Minuses: Not as fast as the pnuematic Heavier and larger then the pnuematic A solid tool as a backup or for smaller jobs. It worked well in cold weather when the compressor was popping the breaker. While I wouldn't use it for a larger project, it is a great backup and can easily handle the small to midsize projects. It also makes a great secondary palm nailer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good cost-benefit. Very good tool!!... but not excellent. It is very good nailer hand, I like the force of 3 joules for hammering, LED light, and the hand strap, but it is a development model, with the potential to be perfect. The trigger would have been variable speed for total control when hammering; and could extend the range of diameter for use in smaller nails, so those who need to build wooden estrucutras detail would benefit. The absence of Fuel System is unfortunate, as some type of system to absorb vibrations. The weight and volume of the tool are in an acceptable limit, but the issue could be improved weight; since not having a vibration absorption system, the tool transmits all the hand and arm and cause muscle fatigue. Finally, no longer continue equipping the M12 System with 1.5 Ah batteries (Milwaukee 48-11-2401 M12™ REDLITHIUM™ Battery), they are not efficient in terms of time of effective use (in the case of this nailer), and should standardize the M12 System with 2.0 Ah batteries (Milwaukee 48-11-2420 M12 REDLITHIUM™ 2.0 Compact Battery Pack), as with Carrying Case for the same system, as the Contractor Bag where the tools are not offer protection shocks. It is very good tool, the cost-benefit ratio is acceptable, but lacking a little more effort to make Excellent and Indispensable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A rare miss for milwaukee First of all, the tool is intended to upgrade from the craftsman auto nailer. And failed As an electrician I mount dozens of electrical boxes daily., the craftsman auto nailer preformed beautifully, it was lightweight, easy to handle and worked in tight areas. The Milwaukee unit is the opposite, it's heavy, bulky, and cannot fit into tight spaces. The Milwaukee would also benifit from a speed control to dial back the power, not every nail is a pole barn nail. Lastly, the impact pin needs to be the same size as the collet, so more types of nails can be used
