Rated 5 out of 5Â by MrThumb Remarkably clear and interference-free
Like so many others who've posted reviews on this radio, I love its sound quality and overall feature set. But what no one else seems to have mentioned yet is that this radio is unusually well shielded against electrical interference -- both ways. You can use the radio in proximity to "noisy" electrical devices and circuits yet the radio reception remains clear and static-free. By the same token, you can place it next to your laptop computer or other sensitive electronics without causing any disruption to those other devices. I have yet to come across another radio like this.
As for clarity and power, well, during the Calgary Stampede last summer, I took this out on my highrise apartment balcony during one evening's fireworks. I cranked it up and was able to blast out the synhronized music soundtrack (from a local FM station) for my entire block -- without distortion!
The only downside to this product overall is that the dustproof MP3 player compartment in the front is not large enough for the most popular current-model smart phones. It may be time for Milwaukee to come out with a second generation with a larger compartment.

I'm a welder & work in a very noisy environment. This little radio just isn't loud enough. It's a great radio for the garage or back porch though.

This radio is much smaller than I would have guessed. I was using an old clock radio before, but was given this as a gift. The sound is great, the digital tuner is way better than my old radio. I usually use it plugged in when I use it. It has taken a couple falls, but came out unscathed. My iphone 3g fits in the compartment, but only barely. If you have anything larger it may not fit. $100 is a bit much, but it is durable and compared to the price of a regular radio with aux inputs it isn't crazy.
Regarding the negative reviews: This doesn't come with a battery, but it doesn't claim to. It doesn't charge the battery, but it doesn't claim to.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Grogan14 Nice little radio
Radio is nice and compact compared to other jobsite radios I've owned. Gets fairly good reception, for my rural location. Loud enough if it's in the room with you, which is all I really expected, given it's price and size. I plan on adding a battery-powered bluetooth adapter, so I can stream from my phone.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Tom the Fix It Man Great Radio - Poor Power Cord Design
Power cord has a heavy transformer at the end of a flimsy cord. Milwaukee usually does a better job with their design. Can be improved by building the transformer into the radio housing and using a stronger cord. The radio is small enough to store in the truck and powerful enough to rock the jobsite. Onboard ipod compartment is a smart feature. Antenna is short enough to keep out of the way. Radio is tough enough to take the bumps and drops at a work site. Improve the power cord and this would be the best jobsite radio on the market.
