No - I was surprised to learn, after I had the lamp, that the battery and charger were extra cost ($150).
I ordered the lamp on line and it was not at ll clear that it did not come with the two items you ask about.
I had a must do project that it was ideal for, so that is life. Rugged and reliable, but?

No, this is the flood light alone, no battery or charger. Worth every penny too, I might add, assuming you have substantial need for such a light.

I've had them out in the rain with no issues. Just wipe them down when you put it back in the tool bin. You don't want your battery contacts to corrode.

It is not water proof (i.e. submersible), but I would not hesitate to carry this in the rain. I would not leave it sitting in the rain though.

Negative - Manual suggests dry conditions only. Upon close inspection, I think it could be modified for splash proof operation, but definitely not submersion. The LED control circuit and contacts are not in a waterproof container, but possibly splash proof with the addition of a heavy film of plastic secured over the battery connection areas and push buttons, allowing sufficient flexibility to press them through your protective cover. The red and black outer structure is very tough and heavy. The LED section is bolted to the larger structure with four phillips screws leaving an obvious 1/32 inch crack around the connection surface. That would have to be covered as well for splash resistance. Milwaukee says no water, but I believe it can be made usable with a good rain cover after everything is readied for use otherwise. Answer:
The M18 Flood Light is rated at IPX4. This means it was tested in a shower setting for 30 minutes with water being shot at it from all sides. It will survive severe weather conditions however if the battery terminal connection gets wet the tool could short out until it has been fully dried. The unit cannot be submerged.

Expensive (with battery and charger) and very rugged for use in construction and maintenance areas. Definitely not guaranteed in wet conditions. I doubt if anyone makes a better all purpose flood light if price is not a barrier.

So far, I'm VERY impressed with every aspect of this work light — everything from the superbly-designed thermal management thanks to decoupled drivers/electronics boards in the space frame-protected end caps to the replaceable lens guard, power-efficient 8+ hour runtimes (when I plugged in a 4.0 amp-hour xc battery that came w/my Fuel drill/impact kit), to the octagonal design along with grooves for hanging, nail hook slot, pipe mount, etc., etc. I'll post a review separately once I've given it a more thorough use and abuse — but so far one of milwaukee's best-designed accessories I've bought. After a couple months we are down to two radios that work. The speakers blow out on them if you play music above 3/4 volume consistently. If you design a radio, don't allow the volume to be turned up to a level that breaks it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not for metal buildings I bought the radio for work in a metal building because I read a review that it worked great. well I can tell you it does not. I could get 2 or 3 stations in if the door was cracked just a bit but when the door was open all the way I would lose the station. when moved further into the building I got only 2 stations one was a religious and the other was a Spanish not my type but was better than nothing. I don't have all the fancy gadgets to hook up to it to play from something else. The radio itself is not bad the reception is terrible, I even have trouble with reception at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful light I've only been using the light for a few weeks, but it's already proven itself. This throws off a lot of light that is diffused well and not too harsh. With a fully charged 5.0AH battery the light lasted a full day of on/off usage, with several of the on periods being over an hour. That was using the light on the lower setting. I normally would not have purchased a light that cost this much, but after reading all of the reviews of how much people like the light, I decided to give it a try. I'm very happy I did.

I've used it for a number of jobs now using different materials. It cuts about how you would expect a battery-operated 6 1/2" saw would cut. Very slowly. It won't replace a full size, high-amp saw, but if you don't need to cut something every day or a lot of things at once and are just looking for something handy that goes along with your investment in Milwaukee batteries, then this will work. It's great to take this anywhere without thinking about a cord and so far it has been easy to use with nice looking cuts. The Milwaukee batteries are outrageously expensive and I wouldn't recommend buying this if you don't already have them for your other Milwaukee tools. If you have the batteries already though, this makes a nice addition to your tool stable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chuck is off on the drill, very dissapointing Brand new, out the box, the drill has a crooked and wobbly chuck, no it is not the bits and no I did not bend it. I have checked it, and checked it, and checked it. It is better than some sets of Makita's I tried, but the chuck imperfection is incredibly annoying and will make delicate work difficult and imperfect.
Date published: 2016-04-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Question Milwaukee quality control I tried a few of these and found varying degrees of chuck wobble some very noticeable. At first I thought it was me but on further inspection found what was obvious to the eye was indeed wobble.regardless of the bits I tried. Milwaukee responded with a way to calculate the allowable run out but as I did not have the tools to check this the point was moot. Just saying for a $300 combo ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound and VERY well built! I bought this for our rural cabin where we do not yet have electricity. The sound is fantastic and the battery lasted for two days of constant playing! The sealed compartment for the phone keeps it in place and playing music while you move the radio around the jobsite. I'm very impressed with this unit and if it had a battery charger included, it would be perfect! But it is everything it advertises to be, that's for sure!
