Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MrTony Best Drill on the market
I have owned the earlier model of this drill (2602-20) since Father's day of 2010 and have NO regrets! Although I am not a carpenter by trade, I do more side jobs for others that I might as well be. I have used this hammer drill for taking apart a barn (drilling out the old oak pegs), putting together decks, building chairs, putting up drywall, driling holes in countless 2x4's for wiring etc. and have actually burned up the motor once and now have an issue with the gears being stripped. Yes I have put this thing through 3 1/2 years of abuse so far and it has some battle scars, but the 5 year warrenty is remarkable. They stand behind their products (unlike most manufacturers these days). I would definitely purchase another Milwaukee. It has trueky been a workhorse for me - I truely do not leave home without it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by magejubi Never spent so much for anything so sub-standard
Been using Milwaukee tools for over 35 years, and still have drills, etc from the 80's. But this--the first one had a wobbly chuck. Put a long bit in it, and it'd wobble over 1/4 inch at the top. OK, I figured just a bad chuck, so back it went for an exchange. To my horror, the 2nd one has even more wobble, and the chuck has debris left over that was making it bind. What a shame, as the drill, batteries, themselves seem so promising, but the sub-standard, low buget chuck is a deal killer--I've never spent so much on a tool that was so poorly made, I'd be hard pressed to buy another Milwaukee. The second one is going back in the morning. My 10 old brand "x" with comatose batteries, and hard life, is better than this, and was used to finish the job. Put the same long bit in it, and the total wobble was less than 1/32.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sparky Absolutely love this drill
I bought this one to replace an identical older drill I recently burned up. Drilling a 4 3/8" hole at high speed is definately not recommended and will void your warranty, my old milwaukee took 3 years of this kind of abuse before it finally gave out. The new one is exactly the same but it seems as if the hammer drill portion is even better than the old one. Go ahead and buy Dewalt, Rigid or whatever junk Menards sells but you do get what you pay for.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worker Awesome drill. Incredible
The chuck on this drill is amazing first off, no wobble. This drill is powerful enough to punch holes in 1/2 steel plate with no issues whatsoever. Holes I would usually grab a corded drill to bore are now delegated to this cordless. It's light, and plenty powerful. and oh yeah, the quality is top notch.
Disregard reviews that say otherwise, this product is a 5/5 performer worth spending hard earned money on.

Tool seem promising as the other reviewer stated, but mine had a wobbly chuck...i made the bit walk each time I tried to drill a hole, it was worse on small holes with small bits. I also tried to get another one from the store and that one had a wobbly chuck as well, just like the other reviewer. Too bad the bottom line with companies means sacrificing quality or usability. Beware!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jimmybojimbob As powerful as my V28!
This drill is amazing. I can bore through a treated 4x4 with a 1 1/2 inch bore bit in high speed without bogging down. Light weight and the batteries last forever. I'm selling my Milwaukee 28v kit to purchase the rest of the M18 line. The only complaint I have is the drill will get hot under heavy loads....not warm I mean HOT. Overall money well spent. Good job Milwaukee

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sinan Broke after 30 times m6 holes in brick and mdf.
While installing my new kitchen my new milwaukee broke after drilling some holes in mdf and a brick wall. The speed change (from 1 to 2) doesnt latch anymore. It doesn't do anything anymore. Hope the supplier can fix it WITHOUT additional costs. I had to convince my wife i needed this premium tool for the installation of our new kitchen. All for nothing... I thought milwaukee was premium, guess not!
