I just love the Milwaukee M18 products as the batteries charge up quickly and they are all interchangeable between tools. The quality of the tool out does all its competitors in my opinion. I use it almost every day in my workshop restoring Pinball games. The variable speed allows me to easily remove all the small screws and nuts that hold all the small parts to the playfield of the game. I plan to purchase other Milwaukee M18 tools in the future.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sqft BETTER THAN RATINGS!
I read the reviews last year about the batteries not holding power for long. The majority of the ratings were positive though. I purchased several tools and batteries from Milwaukee. This drill is a great tool. The power, torque, and battery life has been excellent! I am very pleased and have realized the value of "You get what you pay for". Cheap tools are just that. These drills and more money and they hold up to a lot of demand in my business (Home Improvement).
I recently built a rustic end table for my son. He loves it! The Milwaukee tools made it a breeze!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ToolTimeTony lightweight, powerful, compact impact driver
Set comes with 1/4 driver, two 18V lithium-ion batteries, and charger. Light and compact, with plenty of power. Fits into tight spots. Driver takes standard 1/4" bits. Two speeds, led lighted, batteries have charge indicators, charge quickly and have good lasting power. Batteries fit most 18V Milwaukee tools. Drives 3" screws easily, drives lags easily also. Very nice case. Well constructed and looks and feels quality made.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by caulboy quality impact
Impact is well balanced and the two speed setting is nice. You can go from screwing decking down to installing light fixture screws. And it's durable I've accidentally dropped it off a second story roof. And still it rattles away. The reason for four stars is the batteries don't last that long. Overall a good buy though.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sweetpea Great Deal on Milwaukee Impact Driver
As we all know Milwaukee tools are to drool for, most of we home do-it-yourselfers can't normally justify the cost of a Milwaukee tool for personal use but Home Depot this past Christmas season put this set on a one-day sale for $89 when the retail price was $199. I heard of it on the radio, went on line and bought it immediately even though I have a very good Porter Cable driver I have used for over two years. Value was just as I expected and I will be using it extensively this spring when we begin another Habitat for Humanity home here in central Michigan.
To HD thank you for a great value on a great tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DrivinMeCrayCray Powerful Driver -- Great Battery Strength
I have been keeping an eye on a new drill and driver when this popped up as a cyber week special. I opted to pick up the driver and wait for a comparable drill special in the future.
This thing is great. Lots of power and drives fast. Even with the speed set to 1 you'll be impressed. As others mentioned I prefer this style speed switch on the base of the unit.
I can understand where some reviewers comment on the quality, however, I feel this is all relative in the industry and Milwaukee still has a higher build quality than the rest in my opinion. If you're looking for a rugged little powerhouse, this is your driver.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robert21 Dependable!
I was surprised to be able to get a Milwaukie impact driver for less than $100! Yes, it is 18v and some of the other guys are at 20v, but I really have not noticed much of a difference between the 18 and 20's. It is lithium so you get almost 100% power until it just dies unlike the NiCad that lose power at the battery dies. This is being given as a gift to someone who, when buying for themselves, typically buys much less expensive tools and complains when they fail within a few months. I have personally had other Milwaukie tools and they have held up well under residential / light commercial use. .
