I was very impressed with this product.
The thought put into what the end user needed was apparent.
Things like the light not turning off after you release the trigger showed extra thought and consideration for what features are actually needed by the user.
I love the 2 speed control. Fast speed for driving 3 inch deck screws is great. However the lower speed setting is crucial for more detailed work such as installing shelving hardware or installing furniture hardware.

I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone. It worked 3 times, and after just over a month, it died. I tried to return to the store and they refused to take it back. I called milwaukee but didnt get through to anyone in customer service. I called HD corporate and got no help. $100 down the drain. I couldnt be more unhappy. All it was used for was taking wood screws out of a deck i was disassembling. Not exactly tough work. The batteries do seem strong, but i think the motor on this one is shot... Barely spins even with new battery.

I have owned a Milwaukie drill and bought this driver so that I could share the M18 batteries. It has been a great tool---easy to use, strong torque and long battery life. Only wish I had bought the two tools together originally.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DBNYC75 Great Impact Driver
This is a great impact driver. It's extremely lightweight, very comfortable grip, small head size to get into tight spots and the 2 speed selector is an excellent addition. It has everything I need in an impact.
I'm not sure why Milwaukee didn't put the one handed bit insert chuck on this model, not a big deal. Light is decent, front of the impact casts a bit of shadow when working in dark places.
All in all my favorite impact driver.

Excellent tool, I'm installing my second set of brushes and I've been hard on this poor thing but it's never let me down!

This is the 3rd drill that we have went thru at work. They started giving me the drills after they stopped working. Each one stopped for a different reason. Some just lost power or made a grinding noise inside. Others work some times if you hold the trigger just right but not for long. We now have 6 chargers and only 5 batterys that work, and only 3 impacts that are working. That's not a very good track record I like your tools but would not buy this product. I have a 18v impact of my own that has been used professionaly for several years the only thing that has went wrong with it is the charger, and the batterys are getting week. Sorry I would not recommend any contractor to buy this product

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brunk A great tool that get the job done
Recently I had to replace my garage door. I only had an old cheap nicad drill and a 30 year old corded Milwaukee drill from my fathers contracting business. I knew the Milwaukee drill had so much torque would probably put the screws right through the door. I picked up a Hitachi drill driver combo that was on sale thinking it would be fine for casual around the house work. It couldn't even put a hinge screw in the door, it had zero guts. I took it back the same day. I bought this driver in a drill driver combo and couldn't be happier. I also used it to take a car door apart in seconds. This tool has the power I need, when I need it. I don't use it every day, but when I do it never disappoints. My dad bought dozens of Milwaukee tools and I know why, they get it done.

Don't get a bit stuck!! Take apart is not easy. No help from Milwaukee on the matter. No replacement parts sold for this problem as well. Very very poor design. Should have easy way to remove stuck bits. Sorry I purchased now I have no alt but to purchase a new tool. Wont be a Milwaukee!!
