CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HIgh quality, useful tool set I've been using the set for about a month now, as I rebuild my workshop. I had a similar set of Makita tools that got destroyed when my workshop burned down, and I think the Milwaukee tools are noticeably more powerful. The circular saw especially impressed me. It's light enough to carry up a ladder, but it has enough power to trim 2x8 PT rafters with ease. The reciprocating saw was useful for getting down and cutting roots out from under the stumps of a couple of trees that were killed by the fire. Hey, it's a real Sawzall. The impact driver was visibly more powerful than my helper's Makita. I cut a number of roof panels with a cutoff wheel on the angle grinder, and the drill made light work of putting half-inch holes through a lot of studs to string electric wiring. Initially, the batteries seemed to give out too quickly, but performance improved with use. I bought a couple of spare batteries, and although the batteries are good, the packaging was terrible. Plastic clamshell packaging should be illegal, and these were especially nasty to open. All in all, I must say this is a very strong set of cordless power tools, purchased at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone; if they last as well as most Milwaukee tools, I'll be using them for the rest of my life. November 15, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reliable Quality My only disappointment is Milwaukee isn't making clearer distinctions between generations of cordless toolkits. They have newer brushless equipment with stronger batteries. Strangely, it is designated on their kits with the term "Fuel" and it was not clearly apparent when ordering online. Home Depot did a good job of shipping the kit and I am pleased with their service. April 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Milwaukee 6 piece combo kit I'm very happy with the Milwaukee name brand. I find that Milwaukee holds a longer charge and has more power than my old Dewalt XRP 18v power tools. (Only used the circular saw, sawzall and drill driver at this point). On the sawzall: I like the ability to push in the safety and keep it in a maintained position rather than a momentary position. It means I don't have to hold it down while cutting. Also I like the blade release on the sawzall too. A small difference but one I like. The only small complaint is that it would be nice to get more than 2 lithium ion batteries and only 1 reciprocating blade and circular saw blade. But that's probably me being cheap. The only combo I'm more interested in than this set is the Milwaukee Fuel brushless combo kits. March 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by longest lasting battery life!! and what power!!! got this set after returning a set of ridgid cordless after a few hours of use when circular saw arbor broke. What a difference in power and battery life. Milwaukee blows all competitors out of the water. I have used dewalt tools for years and they can't compare to the smooth operation and significant power upgrade, not to mention battery life of the milwaukee tools. do yourself a favor and get this set it has everything u need except the radio. the milwaukee radio is the best there is May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suprised the power and quality The trim saw surprised me with the power and quality. The saw has nice gages for depth , angles and for ripping. the batteries seam to last very well. The impact and the drill are little power houses they don't strain at all. These are by far the pest battery tools I have ever owned and I have had my share of the others. Thank you Milwaukie for some fine tools March 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Buy I had both a Craftsman 19V and B&D 24 volt set this works much better and the battery meter is vary useful.. March 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Replaced Dewalt 18v set with Milwaukee M18 Very powerful tools. I was using them for metal work so I burned through the batteries quickly but they recharge fast. I did not have any delays due to recharging. Make sure the saw blades are pushed all the way in or they won't lock. March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Some of the best cordless tools. I use milwaukee on the job for 8 hours a day and they work well day in and out. I bought the cordless kit for my home and have been extremely pleased with their weight, durability, battery life, and features. February 26, 2013
