No it does not include the hammer drill option. Just a good basic drill/driver. And it comes with the impact gun for driving screws. If you want the hammer option, look at different options.

Correct. 1/2" Drill and 1/4" Hex Impact. I use both, the drill with a bit to pre-drill for deep screws, while the impact drives the screw in. You set the RPMs with the variable trigger, and the impact begins anytime the load is extreme. Works great, I have one, use it for all kinds of projects, love it.

No setting adjustment, but the speed is determined by the trigger. If you have successfully used other drills that speed up with the amount of trigger pull, you should not have trouble with this one.

I am sure when you asked this question, the product was right there on the same page, unfortunately it doesn't stay with the question. During light loads the RPMs are the variable, and when the load increases beyond a point, the impact action begins automatically, thus the IPMs. Read More

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 216 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product for the money The price for just the drill was the same price as this kit when I purchased it. It was a no brainer. Milwaukee is known for great products and this one does not fall short. For less than $200 you get a nice carrying bag, 2 batteries, an impact driver and a drill? That is amazing. They are lightweight and perfect for doing things around the house. I could see getting a heavier duty drill/impact driver if you do construction for a profession but for little things around the house this is more than enough. The light on it is very bright, and nothing on it has let me down. I would buy this again. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MNDIY Bought this combo a few years ago and I have nothing but good things to say about the reliability and quality of this product. The impact driver took a few tumbles off of scaffolding 2-3 stories in the air with virtually no damage. Would buy again if I could every wear this one out. It put together a 1500sq ft addition with treslocks with ease. No pre-drilling just raw power. July 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best drill I've ever owned This combo set is one of great value for the quality of the tools. Also, fits my small hand real well compared to other larger handle tools. This unit is much more powerful than the M12 that I tried. Could not justify spending the extra dollars for a brush-less model. My first M18 combo unit was stolen and I did not hesitate to buy it back since I liked it so much. July 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent cordless drill I purchased this drill approximately one month ago and it is a pleasure to use. It is lightweight and very powerful. Highly recommend Milwaukee cordless drills July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for the price Everything I expected and then some power great battery life .nice package should last along time. Great customer service July 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super happy with this purchase. After using a friends cordless Milwaukee 5/8 impact wrench - I decided to buy into their line of cordless tools. Couldn't be happier with my decision. Tonight I pulled intake and exhaust studs off a 72 Triumph with the 1/4" impact driver, mounted with an extension, impact socket, and occasionally a universal joint - and it pulled every single one. A tool this small shouldn't have been able to do that. I've used both the impact and drill on several projects and they make me wonder why I put up with cords for so long. If you're like me - and took your time deciding which cordless line to buy into - I really think you'd be hard pressed to beat these. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Performing Tool First of all its Milwaukee, there are only a few great brands that can with stand the constant abuse my compnay throws at them. If its not Hilti then its a Milwaukee for my guys. Great Price, Solid warranty with several Houston Authorized repair locations. June 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Huge disappointment I am a welder by trade and I recently moved provinces due to health issues. After spending time in a hospital and trying to get back on track, I found a job in a fabrication facility. Having no tools with me after I moved, I had to start over buying everything new. I have always bought Makita tools and I wish I would have stayed with what I know. Long story short, nothing but problems with supplier, warranty work, power, battery life, basically all aspects of the tool. I'm always gentle on my tools and tend to take batter care of them than necessary, but the Milwaukee tools have continuously let me down. 2 impacts, 2 drills and 2 grinders are a great example of how they're just not built to last. Not to mention the longest amount of time any one of them has operated has been 2 months of very light duty application. I have had my impact in the warranty repair shop longer than I had it in the fab shop now. May 22, 2016
