Answer:
I've never experienced any issues with the battery coming loose. All M18 batteries lock onto the tool and require squeezing the release tabs to remove.

This is pretty much an everyday-use tool of me, professionally, and it is something I have not experienced - nor can I see it happening, as the M18 batteries positively lock into the tools.

I found that the 12 volt model battery would vibrate loose but not the 18 volt because it slides on..

The battery connection to the tool is one thing I really appreciate. I've used my tool through extensive use and vibrations, and haven't had the slightest sign of the battery wanting to come loose. I'd be quite surprised if you could get it to come loose on it's on.

I got mine this week. It comes with one standard wood plunge blade and the sanding head with a starter pack of sanding paper. This tool can take any OIS blades so check out Bosch, Dremel or Rockwell. Other big box stores have their own brand...they will fit. Wish my HD had more of a selection.

Answer:
Yes, it comes with one blade. For a Milwaukee product it is cheap and won't last long. Buy the Carbide blades. Most any brand will fit (Dremel, etc) due to the fact it comes with universal docking pieces.

Answer:
From what I remember, it comes with one general purpose blade, and a universal adapter for using other brand's blades. However, I had a few issues with some brands' (I'm looking at you, Dremel) blades being too thin to use with the adapter. Particularly the flexible scraper blade and the drywall blade.

From the Milwaukee manual it "seems" like they will. I just want to hear from users who actually tried it successfully.

Answer:
All I really use are flush cutting wood blades. Of the Dremel blades that I have, the ones that are marketed as universal, with the elongated holes (more like slots) fit without the adapter. The ones with the smaller circular holes require the adapter.

Answer:
Some do, some don't. They all fit on the Milwaukee, but some attachments like the Dremel flexible scraper are too thin for the M18 multitool to clamp down on. Thicker attachments do fine though.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 54 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good multi-tool so far. I already have the M18 batteries with my other power tools so it only made sense to buy this vs dewalt. low vibration in your hands when operation. good grip but a little too long if you need to get into tight spaces October 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plenty of power I recently returned the M12 multi-tool because it did not have enough power for what I needed it to do. I picked up the M18 multi-tool and am glad I did. I am 7/16" OSB sheeting my pole barn walls and needed something to cut holes for outlet boxes and other cuts that required more intricacy than a circular saw. It did all that I needed it to do relatively easily. It took a couple cuts to get used to it, but the easiest method I found was to plunge in at a slight angle and then move down your cut line at a steeper angle. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy the 18V over the 12V just for the blade clamp. Need to develop a totally tool free way of clamping the blade to the machine. You will still need a screwdriver or another blade to release the screw that attaches the blade to the quick release feature of the 18V CORDLESS MULTI-TOOL. Milwaukee, I'm disappointed in your engineering department. They only half way developed the "tool free" blade clamp. Other manufactures figured it out! Too much of a rush to bring this to the market without finishing the design of the tool! Milwaukee, we expect better!!! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality product Milwaukee have truly done it with this tool. The ease of operation makes this tool handy for even the weekend DIYer. I continue finding reason to pull this tool out of the box to use and have not yet been let down. I have cut through 2" x 4" s with it and undercut door jambs, heck I even coped a piece of crown molding with it once in a pinch. Hands down, if you know anything about Milwaukee and the quality they produce along with the convenience of the 18v power/mobility this tool is an absolute must-have. July 6, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by M18 multi - tool So nice to be able to make small cuts with a multi -tool without bringing out a cord for power. We like the locking mechanism, make blade changes easy. April 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very handy tool Latest addition to my M18 tool bag. I am a home builder and this tool is handy for tight spots. May 10, 2016
