No, only Milwaukee M18 batteries will work in this 18-volt M18 blower.

Does this saw come with Blade?

Asked by: Tom
Yes; a 24 tooth rough framing or "rip" blade. It cuts fast, but not very clean. It's fine for framing and rough cutting playwood, but if you need cleaner edges, then invest in a Freud Diablo, or other premium blade.

After purchasing the 1st blower from Home Depot in February 2016, the 1st one failed after a few months which developed a problem when rapidly squeezing the trigger on high speed, the motor would start up and then immediately die. Exchanged the 1st blower at Home Depot and the 2nd one developed the same problem. Contacted Milwaukee Customer Service who exchanged the blower and the 3rd blower developed the same problem. Exchange the blower at the local Milwaukee Factory Service Center and the 4th blower developed the same problem. Contacted Milwaukee Customer Service again who replaced the blower in August 2016. This 5th blower lasted until June 2017 before developing the same problem, on high speed rapidly squeezing the trigger, the motor starts and immediately dies. I found it does not matter which Amp Battery is used, if I very slowly squeeze the trigger on high speed, the motor will come up to full speed. The problem does not seem to occur often when the speed switch is set to Low or Medium. I store the blower in the garage and thought the issue may be ambient temperature related. After a day inside the house at room temperature, the blower would work with no issues rapidly squeezing the trigger on high speed. Having 5 of these blowers develop the same problem, I would have to believe there is a symptomatic problem with the electronic circuit board in this blower that controls the motor speed that fails when the ambient air temperature gets above 80-90 degrees. Since I have made multiple attempts to resolve this problem with Milwaukee, there appears to be a chronic problem with these blowers that Milwaukee needs to fix and would expect other customers to have experienced this same problem. I have numerous other Milwaukee M18 tools for several years and none of the other tools has ever had a problem, this blower is very handy for cleaning up a work area if only if it would work right. Hopefully Milwaukee will fix this problem and resolve this issue with customers that have already purchased this blower and then I would highly recommend this blower.

I use it to blow leaves and dirt out of my garage and off of my patio. It's very quiet. I had a plug in electric blower and the operating noise was enough to hurt my ears. I use old (5+ years) slim 2 amp-hour battery and get maybe 5 minutes of blowing, just enough for the small job. I plan on getting the bigger batteries. What you can't tell from the picture: There is an extension tube that double the reach of the blower, which makes it easier to blow stuff at ground level. Also the blower tube is soft rubber so if you are poking it around to blow behind chairs and the like it won't scratch anything. It also comes with tips to help inflate air mattresses and pool rafts, but I haven't tried it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome saw for $120. I already had the drill, the driver, and the impact gun, but needed a saw. The saw performed marvelous and uses the same battery as my other tools. The charge lasted through 18 cuts on 4 x 4's, and 2 ripped 4x8 sheets of 3/4 plywood. Still had 3 charge lights on 5.0 battery. Awesome saw

After purchasing a 1/4 inch drill driver with batteries and charger, which performed well, battery held good charge throughout use. I decided I needed a circular saw to repair some barn boards. The barn is about 300 feet to the rear of our house, which would require a lengthy cord to use my corded saw. I purchased the 6 1/2 inch M18 saw, which uses the existing batteries I have on hand. I was able to use the saw remotely, no cord and ripped through a dozen 1 x 6 x 12 foot Oak boards to make repairs in no time and only on one charged battery. The drill and saw are my first purchases of a Milwaukee tool, and based on their performance thus far, I would highly recommend the Milwaukee line up of tools to anyone who wants performance and quality in a powered hand tool.

It picks up very good and has great sound. It also works on my M18 batteries. I work outside most of the time and this light radio is just what I needed. Hope it lasts as long as my old Milwaukee radio did. I love the simple controls which are very easy to figure out and easy battery installation and removal. Would highly recommend this to anybody that is looking for a little radio. Like others I wished it would charge batterys when plugged in but you cant have everything.

The reciprocating Saw works well but it eats the battery up extremely fast. I had a brand new battery on the unit and before I could cut through a 3"x3" x1/8" steel tube it was dead. We had to switch over to an electric reciprocating saw to finish the project which is really hard to do when you are 21 stories above the ground hanging off the side of the building. I wish I didn't have to spend $169 or more to buy an extended life battery. It seems to be very excessive for a tool battery.

I've used the other two major brands (Makita and Dewalt) and this saw is top notch by comparison. DeWalt has taken a downhill slide when it comes to cordless tools, they have always had battery problems, Milwaukee and Makita have the best battery cells, granted Makita's batteries are still probably the longest lasting in terms of number of charges, but still, this saw has two major benefits over the competition, an aircraft aluminum base, (won't rust or corrode) and the magnesium blade guards (top and bottom). The only down side is that it does not come with the width adjustment bar, at least mine didn't. Not a big deal it's rarely used anyway but still, I noticed the Makita does come with one. The electric brake on this saw is the best too, dead stop when you let go of the trigger, never seen that in other brands.
