Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cord Free at last This nail gun is everything that it is promoted as being. I used it for 6 hours yesterday putting up a bead board ceiling and I never had one nail jam. It's quiet with no noisy compressor buzzing in the background that would aggravate you as well as everyone around you. The fact that you are completely free of an air hose is a great thing. There are some people that will complain about the weight. It is not light and working on a ladder putting up bead board for hours, I can back that statement up. It is however a choice for you to make. Would you rather have a lighter gun but have to buy a compressor and deal with air houses whenever you use a nail gun or would you rather have the freedom to take this gun wherever you want and never consider running AC cords to power it. For me, the added weight is well worth it. The gun works flawlessly, there is nothing more I can say......

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tool, a little heavy though I got a chance to handle one of these when they were first released in may, I do alot of trim and wallboard work, and I found this gun very heavy in comparison to my compressor gun. none the less its a nice tool, and having no compressor and hose to carry around is a major bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tool The nail gun works greats. I own other Milwaukee M18 products, so I just purchased the nail and used my existing batteries. I carry 1 1/2 and 1 inch nails and keep the nail gun in my truck all time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! So I'll start out with the bad... unless you have other Milwaukee tools and already have the battery and charger, you'll need to go out and spend an additional $50. My current tools are all Ryobi so this is my first Milwaukee product. Although I'm impressed with the performance of this tool, I wish I would have purchased the Ryobi version so that it worked with my existing set. I should have known when it said "Bare Tool" but I didn't realize that the extra cost would be so much. Other than that, this thing works great! It's got a ton of power considering it's battery powered. The first time I pulled the trigger, it kicked back and hit me in the shoulder. I learned the hard way to hold on with two hands! It's easy to load the nails, click in the battery and you're ready to go. The battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. I used it to install some quarter-round trim around my baseboards and it worked flawlessly. Every single nail went in flush. I'm not a contractor and will only ever use this tool for DIY and home improvement projects, but it's working great for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Finish Nailer Ever Another great product by Milwaukee. The Fuel M18 16 Gauge Straight Finish Nailer. It does a great job and it is super convenient. I have often put off finishing projects around my house because I didn't want to get out the air compressor unless I had several hours to work. Now, that isn't a problem . I can do moldings, door frames, cabinetry and other items whenever it is convenient. This finish nailer is always ready to go. Right now I am working on crown moldings. I am a small woman and the nailer's 6.3 lb weight is fine with me. I also love the battery operated and not having a hose or extension cord dragging around the room. The Nailer will drive a nail from ¾ inch up to 2.5 inches long. I am using a 1.25inch nail right now and haven't had a problem. I have attached a video. The last board in the video is oak and it didn't phase it. It uses the M18 Battery which has plenty of run time. I don't know how long, but I did a whole door frame on a single battery with charge left over. The front of the nailer swings open on a hinge and has an easy release. I show that in video. This is nice if a nail jams. However, I haven't had that happen yet. In the video I made, I show opening and closing this piece. I also like the light that comes on and illuminates the work area. Very convenient. Great Product.
