Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Still the king of reciprocating saws. Ill admit Im a huge fan of Milwaukee tools. But that doesn't mean Im opposed to owning other brands. Some brands just excel at making certain things. Milwaukee and their sawzall is a perfect example. I have a corded super sawzall that I used to use for everything, now that I own this fuel sawzall I haven't used the corded one in over a year. Im not kidding you this thing is an absolute beast. I use this tool daily and i can't tell you how many times this saw has outperformed just about any corded non milwaukee reciprocating saw on the job. Guys on the jobsite are always shocked how awesome this saw is. I had to use a Dewalt corded saw once when I didn't have my fuel saw and I couldn't believe how weak the Dewalt felt compared to the fuel. Sorry Dewalt guys Milwaukee is the standard for reciprocating saws period! Not to mention their batteries by far outlast any 18v battery I've used. Get this saw you won't be disappointed. I would say without a doubt this will replace a corded tool. Just keep batteries handy because any cordless saw drains a battery fast with heavy use. July 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Milwaukee Quality Shines Through! You just can't beat the quality of this manufacturer's tools. Here again, Milwaukee provides the user a quality and powerful tool to get the job done. The kit comes complete with batteries and charger. There is also room to store some extra blades. In the video demonstration, the only issue was that I did not use a quality blade. The saw performed flawlessly. I recommend that you purchase only top quality blades to be used in this saw. The quick blade changing feature is awesome. It is so easy to change blades, without the need for additional tools (see video). The only complaint I have is that I should have gotten one of these tools sooner. I can guarantee that the buyer will be very happy with this addition to their power tool collection. This would make a great holiday gift. November 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flawless Milwaukee Quality, Unstoppable Cutting Power, Extended Runtime Batteries Looking for a saw with power identical to corded models, but don't want to drag out 150 feet of cord each time you need to do some demo? Then grab this new brushless model 2720-22 from Milwaukee and don't look back. In fact, grab it now. Whether it's the impeccable assembly of the unit, the seamlessly smooth drive of the reciprocating mechanism or the "You can't slow me down" power from the newly designed brushless motor and extended capacity batteries, you can't find anything wrong with this saw. Nothing. From top to bottom this is Milwaukee's best Sawzall. Out of the box you'll notice the wonderful signature red Milwaukee carrying case that fits the tool, batteries and charger like a glove. No flopping around inside. Everything has it's place and fits perfect. Included in the case is a blade to get you started. Grab the batteries and the charger and get the batteries charged up so you can play, er I mean 'work' with the saw. Each pack takes over one hour to charge. Yes, that seems long, but these are 4AH batteries. It takes some time to complete a charge on a pack of that capacity. The trade off is silly long run times. It takes a long time to drain a pack while cutting even hard material (more about that in a bit). Each pack has a battery gauge that lets you know exactly how much power you have left. You'll never wonder if you're just about to lose a charge. The charger is a dual type battery charger. It can charge the Milwaukee brand 12V and 18V batteries. It monitors the charge and lets you know it's done with a bright green light. One charger for all your batteries. Most welcome. Now let's get to why you're really here. The sawzall itself. Does it do all it claim to in the ads? Does the brushless motor really make that much of a difference? Does it have the same power as the famous corded models? YES. The answer is YES all around. You can't stop this saw. Anything you toss at it, it devours. We cut pipe, tubing, nails and since we also recently finished a huge fencing job we cut off the tops of dozens of 4x4 treated posts in 35 degree weather. We cut off the top of every single post on one battery pack. It never slowed, never bogged down and the battery still showed 50% charge. Unbelievable, but it did. The brushless motor is gentle on power usage, but a beast with it's power for cutting. The best of both worlds in a cordless tool. Changing blades is made simple with the one touch blade release. Simply move the lever, insert your blade and let go. No more messing with hex wrenches and clumsy collets like some brands. The shoe is also completely adjustable using a quick drop down lever that locks it in place. Built into the side of the saw is the chrome hanging clip. Flip it out and hook the tool over your sawhorse, bench, etc. To top it off, a bright LED light is set into the face of the tool, just behind the shoe to light the cut. You may think you don't need it, but the first time you're cutting a beam in an attic, you're going to love it. There is no way I could have been more impressed with this tool. Milwaukee has outdone themselves with this new addition to the classic Sawzall line. October 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grandma's Got It !! I'm 63, very disabled due to back pain. I researched saws 6 mths. This thing has the power of a corded tool. I can't afford to hire, so must tend to property. This cuts ground level smooth as butter. Trimmed my 800'drive. Now working on brush. It just doesn't get better. My grown son is always borrowing it. When only the best will do. September 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by READY TO GO WHEN I AM I enjoy the idea that I can just grab the tool and go to a job. It is ready and charged and powerful enough to get me done quick. No need to try to plan ahead or delay work while waiting to charge something. June 9, 2015
