This is the m18 fuel "HIGH TORQUE" Impact wrench if you are buying this gun to tighten bolts in tight places or to anything less than 100 ft-lbs I would reccommend looking at the other impact wrenches that milwaukee offers. This is a big gun it weighs in at just under 6 lbs. With a 4.0 ah battery it is 10" tall and from the tip of the anvil to the back of the head is 9". It has 2 modes. Mode 1 claims to limit it to less than 100 ft-lbs it also goes about 25% of the speed of mode 2, like the other reviewers im not all that impressed w/ mode 1 nor was it the reason I bought the gun. Mode 2 claims 700 ft-lbs tightening and 1100 ft-lbs loosening. I haven't used it for anything that required that much torque. Doing lug nuts at 165 ft-lbs it only impacts for maybe a half second before they are free. I have used other cordless impacts rated in the 300 ft-lbs range that impacted for several seconds to break lug nuts free. The gun has a variable speed trigger so you can control the speed of the gun, you can also control the torque applied by controlling the time allowed to impact. I bought the friction ring model the sockets go on and off relatively easily, and when they are on they feel very secure. Milwaukee made this cordless gun to compete with heavy duty pneumatic guns. The pros are that you are not hooked on a hose and it does not require an air system. If you already have batteries the bare tool price is also very reasonable. The Cons it is very large relative to its pneumatic counterparts.
I gave it five stars because it was able to do everything I could reasonably expect from it thus far.

It does not tighten 700 ft. lbs.as advertised. It tightens to 900 ft. lbs. Had no problem busting loose my lug nuts torqued at 325 ft. lbs. I'm happy with my purchase. And whats not to like about a 5 years warranty that pays shipping both ways? Highly recommended.

Has tremendous power. Just used it to remove side steps on a pick up removed all but one the bolts that were rusted in solid. It snapped the last one in half. So be careful what u use it for. It is a heavy impact but the power is totally worth it. And for everyone who doesn't know how to use mode 1 watch the professional review on YouTube. He explains that Milwaukee tested the 100 ft/lbs with 5/8 coarse thread bolt. He tested it and with that bolt it does achieve the advertised torque.

I was able to remove 39, 1-1/8" rusted lug nuts and 3, 1-3/8" rusted nuts with one 4amp battery charge. To my surprise it will go toe to toe with the name brand 1/2" pneumatics in our shop. I didn't think it was possible for a cordless to have this kind of torque but, this is a bad boy! It is pretty big and, you do need to be mindful of the duty cycle because it will overheat(of course). After removing the lug nuts(back to back) this unit was very warm. I was concerned about the heats effect on the units life cycle so I sent an inquiry to Milwaukee and quickly received this reply - "The #2763-20 maintains overload, overheating and over-discharge protection within the impact.
It will shut down if necessary to protect the tool.
Unlike pneumatic tools, electrical tools will produce a heat factor when used beyond the duty cycle."
I haven't had the unit shut down on me yet but it's nice to know it will before letting the smoke out:)

Slightly on the heavy side but that's expected for this type of gun. It has replaced my Ingersoll pneumatic and done a great job so far.
