$5.00 more. Also, do either one of these or do both come with the charger or battery? According to the disclaimer the battery is not included with either one however when you look at the picture , it looks like the battery is tucked into the left side of the sweeper on top.

Go 28V whenever you can. Stronger and last longer.

Would the milwaukee 18v battery work in the M28 Wet/Dry vacuum?

Asked by: Davescustomflooring
No, the 18V battery will not work in the 28V slot. The slots are different, not interchangeable.

Is this tool also available with a battery, and how much is it?
Asked by: denisseattle
Yes, you have to buy a battery but the advert states this. It would be like claiming the cute blonde model wasn't in the trunk when you picked up your new Chevrolet.

Super-convenient and fast-charging, this unit allows you to clean up after yourself and do so quickly, with no worrisome cords and thoroughly. The charge is good for longer than I will ever want to vacuum - say 15-20 minutes. The unit is light weight, sturdy and well designed. The broad nozzle fits nicely under the handle even while the handle is used to carry the unit so there is no tube-and-attachment flopping around. My electrician Abe showed me his and explained how much he liked it so I had to have one, too. Good decision. I bought this unit from Home Depot and got free shipping to my site. As well, the price offered by Home Depot was lower by $15.00 than anywhere else I looked including discounts and eBay. Amazon wasn't close. Shop Home Depot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing since sliced bread Well I bought this and us it all the time around the house and shop. The battery last about 20 minutes or so. I use it all the time to clean up during my remodel. Since I got a lot if Milwaukee cordless tools, I have a lot extra batteries. A great buy if you ask me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from highly useful I use this vac for almost everything since I can grab it quickly and clean up a mess anywhere. It does use standard 1 1/4" hose accessories, but the lack of onboard storage for extension wands (at a minimum) and other tips (like a brush) make things more difficult. In a perfect world, a dual-power vac might be handy, but, I confess, I never used the cord on my previous vac.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very very handy This is one of those cordless tools that you grab for just about any job that has a cleanup element to it. Fast to setup, fast to use, and fast to stow. It's easily the most used vacuum in my arsenal of repair tools.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from victimaria When a product comes to your door step, you expect that it should be a working product. But this one does not come with a battery neither a charger, is it some kind of joke? A cordless vacuum without a battery...? It's a useless toilet bow... What do you think this is, Homedepot? If you sale it as a household appliances, please have the battery & charger included... or have a big sign with the description "Battery & Charger sold separately" in bigger letters... Why would one buy a TV without a remote? This is ridiculous...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vacuum works as expected I knew before buying that battery life was not going to be fantastic and that it was not going to be super quiet. But for the small quick clean-up jobs, this thing is perfect. No cords to unravel and plug in, light enough to just carry around and powerful enough for most jobs. Just drop in a battery, pull the hose from its holder and go.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from flawed design 1. The vac stores the hose externally and two tools internally. There is no storage for any 1 1/4" extension wands. 2. The hose end works with 1 1/4" tools, but does not work with 1 1/4" extension wands. This means you can only vacuum things within the hose reach. Otherwise cordless vacs with a wet-dry filter are highly useful tools. If they'd just fix the wand issue, I'd give it a 4 or 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy Tool For the Box (My Box is a small work van!) I bought this for light clean up after jobs. My employees keep stealing it from my van! I am ordering a few more for the shop since the guys love this vac. It is a lot more compact and does as good or better than the small shop vacs. We have a much larger shop vac for bigger jobs and pulling string through conduit, but for day to day clean up, this tool rocks... Did I tell you we use the 28 volt tools all day long also? Could use a better way to store the hose though...
