This product is so easy to work with, water clean up. It dries clear and quickly. Only time will tell if it lasts. I painted an outdoor sign and used this product because it dries clear.

I used it on a dresser that I painted white and it performed beautifully. A year later it is still as clear as the day I applied it and has been very durable. It was a breeze to apply - I actually used a sprayer to apply it - and it dried in a snap. It dried much quicker that polyurethane and has never yellowed one bit like poly will. And since it's water-based it doesn't have the strong odor and fumes like all of the other clear coats have, and it cleans up with soap and water. I don't know what the other reviewers who reported to have problems did wrong, but if you just follow the instructions you will not be disappointed. It's actually pretty idiot-proof, which makes it a great clear coat for almost anyone to work with.

Sanded down a front door, then stained followed by protection with this product. Easy to use, clear, and beautiful. For maintenance, the directions state a fine sanding and recoating is all that is needed. The finish is still excellent after a year but tested the claim on a superficial scratch left by shears. Dabbed a little of the polycrylic on and the scratch disappeared, Impressive!

I ordered a table on-line and when it arrived the table top was worn and in need of refinishing. I used Minwax stain to give it a consistent color, then used multiple coats of Minwax Polyacrylic protective finish, sanding with 220 sandpaper between coats. The table top looks great.

I had not used a low VOC water based clear coat product before. I always used products such as Minwax wipe on poly, lacquer and shellac. This product is much easy to use and cleans up with soap and water, love it. I recommend you splurge and buy a 2 inch Purdy nylon polyester paint brush. I have used the same brush for two months on water based stain and clear coat. It still looks and feels like new. Good luck with your project.
