Customer Reviews

Gro-ables Salad and Herb Garden Kit Seed Pods is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 87.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money The peat pot does not compost fast enough to let the roots grow. There is no information regarding the seed variety you are getting. Better off buying seeds that have all of the info on the package you need to grow good, strong plants.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money. Not one of the many I purchased germinated. All were treated the same, planted according to directions. So disappointed with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Got ONE to grow by removing the seeds from the pod, took a very long time And the one seedling that survived is is much smaller and leggier my other (non-groables) tomato plants, and slightly droopy, and not even close to flowering. The two romas I started 2 weeks later have already set fruit. Cherries are supposed to be a week faster than Pastes, not a month slower. In preemptive answer to the common (and kind of offensive) CS response to our reviews that we are incompetent and can't keep a seed alive; if it were an error on my part, all my tomato plants would be suffering and all my seedlings would have struggled, not just the gro-ables, which your company claims are guaranteed to grow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for a first time gardener We moved into a condo with a small balcony in the city and I wanted to add touch of green to the balcony. I'd never grown my own garden and didn't know what to expect and was excited for anything green in my planter. To my surprise my three pods grew into sturdy and health plants. I have a larger jalapeño plant with peppers, very tall tomato plant waiting for my tomatoes and favorite a medium basil plant that smells amazing. These three pods turned into more than I expected and have gotten me excited about gardening. My balcony garden recently grew to include cucumbers. Love the pods will use them again and recommend them to anyone. Just make sure you water and provide proper sunlight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge plant! We planted this pod at the end of April when we moved into our new home. This plant has grown so much that we had to buy a 5 ft trellis to keep it off the ground, this was after using a tomato cage to control the plant. We have our first cucumber that should be ready to harvest in just a few days and many more are growing. We also purchased a tomato and watermelon pod as well, The tomato is doing well and should have fruit shortly. The watermelon is just starting to thrive. Being first time gardeners, we are excited with the growth of this plant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money! Chosen for ease as we had planted so many other seedlings with the children. Planted 2 cucumber pods either side of the wigwam along with other bean seedlings. After 5wks there is NOTHING happening from the pods at all! Complete waste of money. They even had half a vimto bottle placed over them to act as a little greenhouse. Thank god my own seedlings worked!! Wont be recommending to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for us. I think these pods are pretty great! We purchased several different types, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc. They ALL sprouted and produced nice vegetables. So much so, we went out and bought more. I would rather use these than put seeds in the planters we use (we grow ours on our deck with big pots) . I hope they never go away!
