Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Very good soil for both outdoor and indoor planting.
While the bags are smaller than the ones found in the store, they gave me enough soil to start 12 containers of strawberries.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy Very unhappy with this product
I have bought many Miracle Grow products and they are very good including Miracle Grow potting mix. But the moisture control one is not a good product. I am growing vegetables in pots. Originally I had planted a plant in a pot that I already had the soil in. I was wondering why when I dug down a couple of inches the soil was bone dry but was wet on the top but, unfortunately, I just thought that was odd and never thought anything more about it. Well, we had a lot of rain where I live and the soil always looked wet so I didn't water the plants for a long time. I wasn't thinking about the fact that the plants were in pots and the water was draining out. Well now I'm having a lot of problems with the plants because of insufficient water. I'm now watering them the way they should have been watered in the first place but I'm very unhappy with this soil because it "fools" you into thinking the plants have enough water because they're wet on top. You can't "feel" the soil to see if it needs water.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mo encourages knat infestation in your home
don't use this product in your home. I always used regular potting mix for house plants and tried this for re-potting all the plants that outgrew their pots. This product seems to constantly attract knats (it must have come with eggs) but since I've started using this inside the home, its now a constant battle to control knats that lay eggs in the soil because the soil always stays moist and never dries out at the top so its an ideal breeding ground for knats. After constantly fighting infestations that have been mild to severe, I was never able to completely eliminate knats from the home and I just threw out all my house plants and starting over. What a terrble product, this product acts like a sponge so the surface stays moist for a long time which encourages fungas and fungas knats to lay eggs and once they get in your home in the soil, its impossible to get rid of them, all you can do is control them. I never had a problem with knats in 20 years before I bought this soil. what a waste. am just going back to simple old dirt with fertlizer,
