Miracle Grow always has great products, I don't know why I expected anything less. I set out to buy a different raised flower bed at Lowes. They claimed they didn't have any more and they weren't helpful so I trucked to Home Depot. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but they had this and the associate said he would price match it for the $40 that Lowes was selling theirs for. So we left with this product. I got it home, it was easy to put together and my garden looks awesome. My husband claims it looks cheap, but I don't think so. I mean, it looks like stained wood from far away -- but up close it's clearly plastic. But as long as it gets the job done, it's perfectly fine with me. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who just needs a small flower bed.

I bought two of these last year when they had them in our local home depot and I loved them. I was able to put them together with no tools and by myself. I can't remember how many bags of soil I used to fill them (i believe it was 7 of the 1.5 cu.ft. organic soil and I need probably 3 more to fill in the two deeper sections.) I got them on sale for $49.97 and I am hoping that they are this price again come spring because I want to buy two more to expand the beds on either side of my existing ones.

The MG Ultimate Raised Garden Bed is terrific! It is very easy to assemble (I watched the video prior to purchasing). We bought two kits, the assembly time was under an hour, could not have been easier. If you can do tinker toys or leggos - you can assemble the URGB. We needed to add a raised bed for annuals and didn't want to go through the hassle or expense of a wood or brick installation. FYI - each tier takes about 2 ct feet of soil, there are 3 tiers per kit, which means a lot of soil! We did not purchase the new lightweight expanding soil due to the premium cost. The cost of the Ultimate Raised Garden Bed was $59. Considering the ease of getting it home (lightweight and the size of an overnight bag), assembling, configuration options and final look - this is an excellent value and a smart purchase. BTW If you are planning on configuring a 3 tier high bed, and don't need the depth for tree/shrub - then fill the bottom tier with newspaper or rocks to save cost and time filling with bags of soil.
Thank MG for designing this very smart product!
