This dried in no time at all. However, to assure that your surface area is "dry" I would let it sit overnight.

The full cure time on this product is 72 hours, you want to try and keep any staining agents off the surface during this time.

This is a personal decision. Really this product is designed to be applied to the grout and the stone tile. If you have porcelain; you may have a glaze that this product could interact with. A call to the technical department at the manufacturer would be best. This could be applied to just the grout with a very thin brush. There are other products out there that will seal the grout easier than this because there is no applicator like other grout seal products on the market. A suggestion of test patches on your tile and grout before you apply it to the finished project. Good luck. Read Less

Answer:
Hello,
511 Seal & Enhance will work on both finishes. With the polished granite it will be sealed, the enhancement may differ depending on the porosity of the granite and a test should be conducted to determine suitability and desired result.
Thank You,

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really Brings Out the Grout We recently replaced the fiberglass tub/shower combo in one bathroom with a fully tiled walk in shower, and a stand up fiberglass shower for a fully tiled shower in another bathroom. We ended up going wtth a ceramic tile in 1 bathroom and porcelain tile in the other for the walls, and with pebble tile for the floor, niche and accent border in both. Since ceramic and porcelain are both non-porous materials, I only applied this product between the pebbles, directly on the grout. This was somewhat of a tedious process but well worth the effort; it definitely makes a difference. July 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Little expensive. So far so good. We applied 4 coats to get the required finish. June 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product but requires 2 coats for slate The floor of my front porch of my new home is made with slate. The slate was drab and I was not happy with the color contrast. I was looking for something that would enhance the color that was within the slate. Power washing removed the surface dirt but did little for the color. I did noticed when the slate was wet the color was good. I found this product at my local HD and purchase two pints. The sealer went on easy enough and the color was acceptable but as it dried the color wasn't as strong as it was when wet. I waited a couple of days and purchased two more pints. The second application went on easier than the first and the bubbles that appeared with the first coat were not an issue with the second coat. Again the slate looked good during application of the coating. A few hours later the coating dried and the color popped. The second coat made a large improvement in both the depth of color and the slate appeared to be better sealer. I'm now a happy home owner. I gave and average rating in the value because for in my application, it requirement of applying two coats. This resulted in double the coating cost and more labor. Otherwise, this is a great product. April 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Results This product is easy to use. I used this on an accent stone ledger wall. The only reason I gave it a good quality rating is because it requires mineral spirits to clean. This is not environmentally friendly but it does an amazing job. I used a 2" brush to apply this product. Depending on your project you may want to consider the roller as suggested or wiping on with a rag, that you will not use again. The product foams a little bit. I'm not sure if that is the product or a reaction with the grout or minerals in the stone when applied. It doesn't detract from the final look, it was just something that I noticed. I did continue to brush through those spots where a foaming between the rocks took place. A little of this product goes a LONG way. I can see how the manufacturer gives such a broad square foot coverage based on the porosity of your substrate. Please see attached pictures as to the before and afters of how this product works. Our accent stone ledger wall looked good even before the sealer however the sealer gives it the "wet look" that we were looking for. The first picture is the stone wall naked if you will. The second picture is the stone wall sealed. The third picture is the stone wall close up. This is a good product with excellent results. I am going to try on a marble wall after reading other reviews. Good luck on your project. July 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dark emperador marble Patio Table brought back to Life! We had this over 10 year patio table which I used (stupidly) to hold plants that I watered last summer - the top was dull, lifeless, I so wanted to get rid of and buy a new set. BUT! Decided (Thank god!) to try this product first after we tried rubbing compound and other products.....THIS product worked!! Looks brand new now. Get this product. I just used a Home Depot application sponge cut in half and it was so easy. I did apply three coats after cleaning well first. Love my "new" table!!!! July 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't cover as much as predicted 16 oz is supposed to cover 500 sq ft, I just finished about 150 sq ft of my 350 sq ft patio and have used up the 16 oz (one pint). I asked the Home Depot salesclerk if he really thought 16 oz would spread over 500 sq ft and he said it was probably a concentrate, but the directions clearly state 'do not dilute'. I used it sparingly because of the high cost, but just had to order more so that I can finish the patio. So far it looks better that the original stone appearance, but not as dark or 'enhanced' as I expected. It really foams a lot and it takes time to towel off the tiny bubbles of foam (they refer to this as residue), but if you don't remove the foam rapidly it hardens into whitish hard foam. It may work better on surfaces that are smooth, but it was difficult to apply on rough bluestone. August 8, 2015
