We bought this for etching in our marble fireplace and it didn't do anything. So, of course we put it on the shelf and forgot about it. Months later I was trying desperately to remove these horrible scratches all over our ceramic tile. I had tried everything! Bleach, special cleaners, and I even tried youtube concoctions..no luck. Then I started thinking it needed some kind of polish. My hubby grabbed this and I was so happy! All the scratches, gouge marks, and even old poly from when our wood floors were done by the previous owner disappeared! I couldn't be happier, I may even keep the tile longer now that all those gross marks are gone and it's beautiful again:)

Second purchase of product. This is an excellent product that works wonders on polished marble tiles. I just installed marble and in the process of grouting the tiles I left hazy scratch marks on the beautiful tiles. In addition, i left some water spots as well from not completely drying the sponge streaks after removing the excess grout. No worries, this stuff buffed out the marble to a shine as nice as it looked in the showroom. Recommend using a decent automobile buffer (non orbital) as I could not have achieved the same results by hand. Use enough water and take your time. I did three 12" squares at a time, then moved on to the next three after I was satisfied with the shine. My only complaint is that it only comes in the little jars for larger floor areas. I have seen poor reviews of the product, but for me it worked amazingly. Just be patient and expect to use a little elbow grease. It requires more than just applying and removing but well worth it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by neatojames The greatest thing for etching on marble
Holy smokes, this stuff is amazing. Look at the after picture....I think I could slide across the top of it. I didn't read directions on another cleaner and etched up my marble vanity something terrible. It drove me nuts to look at it every day. After reading a few reviews and seeing the price, I figured I didn't have anything to lose. I didn't use a buffing pad or any handheld polisher. I used 2 bar rags. One as my wet and one as my dry. I dotted the surface with water, sprinkled on the product and started going to town. My counter top looks better than new. It's super shiny and beautiful. The product is a little stinky, so turn on a fan and open a window.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ashley Water Ring Etch Remover worked Great on Honed Travertine Tile that Was Etched
I am a mother who is not very handy. My housekeeper had etched my honed travertine tiles pretty badly with vinegar. I had about 18 tiles that were 20x20 that I had to repair. I used this with a 220 grit orbital sander that I wet. I then hand polished with a rag to get the shine back. It was pretty easy. I have a few tiles that I need to go back and hand shine a little more. It took a few hours, but it was much better than paying a professional. I am very pleased with the result. It is not perfect, but it is 90% improved.

It worked. We had put vinegar on marble, and it dulled the finish, using this with a drill motor worked great

Had etch marks on my marble vanity caused by hand soap (both foaming and Soft Soap caused etching). Before I found out about this product, I paid a professional $500 to use a diamond sander to buff out the marks. A few weeks later, new marks formed as I did not know the hand soap was causing the etching and did not wipe up the soap drops in a timely manner allowing it etch. This product removed the etch marks with a little elbow grease.
