My grandson broke a jar of pickles on my travertine kitchen floor and the juice moderately to deeply etched about 12 of the 16x16 tiles in front of the refrigerator. Searched the internet for fixes and tried a couple that didn't work. Found this Miracle Sealants product on Home Depot website and IT ACTUALLY WORKED. Tried the 30-50 rotations as stated in the instructions but it took about 100 rotations on each little 2x2 area I was trying to repair. I think it took that many since the etching was pretty deep. I tried using a machine hand sander with the fine sandpaper as others mentioned but that didn't work for me. So after A LOT of elbow grease for this big area that was damaged, I was very relieved and thankful it worked and didn't have to use an expensive service.

So I sprayed Lysol bathroom cleaner on the grout of my marble tile shower . The cleaner trickled down the marble and made etching marks that just looked awful. I tried everything to try to get rid of it and nothing worked. After reading reviews on this product I thought it was only chance. After 30 minutes of rubbing the tile with a rag a splash of water and the ring etching remover powder and it was gone. I couldn't be happier .....such a great price too!

We have a large marble foyer and my daughter decided to throw up on it one night. After trying a few other products and calling every place I could think of...no one knew what to do...I saw this product and tried it a year after the stain etch was formed. This is a large area too, roughly two-three sheets of paper in size. The product completely polished and removed the etch within 15 minutes of me scrubbing. I will buy another bottle now just in case. I absolutely recommend and if it can remove vomit etching a year later it can handle most etch marks.

This product works! I used this on a marble vanity top that was purchased at home depot. The vanity top absorbs hand soap and left a bad water and soap stain. It does the job and made my marble vanity top look like new. The key to this product is making sure you use a buffer and yes it takes more than 50 circular strokes. If your just trying to get your shine back you use less strokes, if there are water and etch marks then scrub a little harder. (Make sure you let it dry before rinsing).
