I purchased this item online 10 days ago after reading all the good reviews about Miracle Sealant Water Ring and Etch Mark Remover in the hope it could remove vinegar marks on my marble bathroom vanity. I followed the instructions to the T, even doing circular motions for 100 times, nothing happened. So I returned it to local HD store. Asked the employees, no one could help. So I thought I just have to live with it. Yesterday I stumbled upon a private website who said to use the green part of scotch-brite sponge and nothing else, IT WORKED! in 5 minutes all the vinegar marks were gone! The SECRET is you must do it DRY, don't wet it or water it. Of course the shine is gone as well, no problem, this can be easily fixed with Gel Gloss or anything else for polishing marble. I really want to share my experience with all of you because someone has helped me and I am very happy with the result.

So far, this has been somewhat effective, however, the etching is apparently more significant in some areas. I plan to try additional applications. I think, for the money, it's worth a try before taking more expensive action.

Works very well for light etching with minimal elbow grease. It didn't really work for water marks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MS Works as it should for etch marks on natural marble
Our polished bathroom marble countertop had acquired surface blemishes that significantly impacted its appearance. The Water Ring and Etch Remover was very effective at eliminating the etch marks, cleaned and polished the overall surface, and reduced the visibility of stains.

Our white marble kitchen counter has various dull rings and one large dull splotch, caused by vinegar. This product might have blended the rings and splotch slightly into the surrounding, shiny finish but it was difficult to discern a noticeable difference. Followed the instructions. though not quite sure was a "buffing pad" is (used a terry cloth-covered sponge) so maybe a "more aggressive" type pad would have made a difference. At the price it was worth a try!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Allnighter Didn't work for what we bought it for but...
We bought this for etching in our marble fireplace and it didn't do anything. So, of course we put it on the shelf and forgot about it. Months later I was trying desperately to remove these horrible scratches all over our ceramic tile. I had tried everything! Bleach, special cleaners, and I even tried youtube concoctions..no luck. Then I started thinking it needed some kind of polish. My hubby grabbed this and I was so happy! All the scratches, gouge marks, and even old poly from when our wood floors were done by the previous owner disappeared! I couldn't be happier, I may even keep the tile longer now that all those gross marks are gone and it's beautiful again:)

Second purchase of product. This is an excellent product that works wonders on polished marble tiles. I just installed marble and in the process of grouting the tiles I left hazy scratch marks on the beautiful tiles. In addition, i left some water spots as well from not completely drying the sponge streaks after removing the excess grout. No worries, this stuff buffed out the marble to a shine as nice as it looked in the showroom. Recommend using a decent automobile buffer (non orbital) as I could not have achieved the same results by hand. Use enough water and take your time. I did three 12" squares at a time, then moved on to the next three after I was satisfied with the shine. My only complaint is that it only comes in the little jars for larger floor areas. I have seen poor reviews of the product, but for me it worked amazingly. Just be patient and expect to use a little elbow grease. It requires more than just applying and removing but well worth it.
