Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I was looking for! This product is awesome! The grout in my bathroom was looking really dingy, but my husband and I planned to redo the entire bathroom in a few few years, so we didn't want to waste time/money regrouting the floor tiles now. I did the whole floor in less than an hour and it looks amazing! July 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Short term solution for nasty grout This paint pen works pretty well, but it does not last long. I have to use 2 to do about a 10 ft. counter. I have epoxy grout, which helps, but it is still grout. The pen works better if you keep dipping it in water to thin out the paint and lubricate the tip. Don't forget that the tip can be turned around. Short of digging out the grout (again) and redoing it, this is a short term solution to making the counters look decent again. If I have to buy a couple every few months, it is worth it, until I can rip out the tile and put in granite. Get one of the small stiff grout brushes and use grout cleaner before you use the pen. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I was looking for... I purchased this product to use on my apartment bathrooms, hoping for a cheap fix since Im only renting and not buying. I tried the tilex tile and grout cleaner pen before I tried this product and that did almost nothing to the grout, so I needed a better solution. This pen was the most expensive grout pen, so I assumed it would be the best one. I used one tube last night, and the one tube only covered a 2' x 3' section then it ran out. I will have to buy at least 8 more pens to cover all the grout in 2 small bathrooms. Cons: The product does not allow you to squeeze it since it is in a very hard plastic, so if you need more, its almost impossible to get out. I pushed the tip in like the prduct says to do, and it just ends up ruining the tip after a few pushes, so the product tends to smear more on the tile instead of staying in the grout line. The product does not cover evenly. The grout I was covering was dark in some spots and gross looking, and since the pen didnt cover the grout evenly, there are darker spots and lighter spots all throughout. There pen sometimes puts too much on and sometimes not enough, which leads to access on the tile. It is easy to clean off, once it kind of dry, however you still have to clean the access off, unlike the previous reviews have said. Pro: Standing far away, the tile does look better (however up close its just blotchy looking, and not what I expected) Im going to be looking for a better solution, I would recommend the same. I saved a before picture, I will be posting an after picture soon. February 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Easy, but washes off! Was easy to apply and looked fantastic, but when I went to do my weekly cleaning, it started coming off . Shouldn't do that with the sealant. Had to go over several areas, then sealed with my own sealant . Hopefully it stays on.. March 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by tips for recovering the tip After you use the pen on the grout, you will notice that the tip disapears, just cut the plastic around the tip with a knife and you recover almost all of it. November 11, 2014
