Just bought this heater. Works well. Easy to assemble and lights easily. Angle the heater to direct the heat and will keep you warm 10 feet away.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by theYuppie Heats as advertised
As advertised you can actually aim the heat using the handle. We've used this about 10 times already and love it. I wish it would have come with a cover for the whole heater (not just the top part). We plan to pick up one of the full covers that sell for around 25 bucks.
Someone had a review that this was difficult to put together. My 13 year old daughter and I had this thing together in about 30-45 minutes (taking our time). It helps to have a socket wrench, but not a necessity.
My only complaint is that the area that houses the tank has a small dent and a scratch on it. It appears to have happened while still in the box. This was only 1 of 2 left at the store, and I didn't feel like taking it back to the store.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gracie Great purchase
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and son-in-law who live in Laguna Niguel, California, I live in Maine. I ordered it on line to be shipped to them from the Home Depot out there. They delivered it in the time frame they said they would. Everything was in great condition and the kids love it. They said it was a great Christmas gift and they use it almost every night. The directional shield is a great option...they are extremely pleased with it. Wonderful experience!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DreadPirateRoberts Better than we expected
We've used it only one weekend, and I can not speak to how it will hold up. New, it is very effective. We bought it for the tilting reflector, as we wanted to place it next to a metal wall but not toast the wall. The wall barely gets warm, and the table under it is very comfortable in 40-degree weather. The reflector is very good at directing the heat.
It would have been very helpful to have a "tools required" list on the box. A 10-mm socket would be a huge help. Many of the nuts are in recessed areas that are difficult to get on with a combination wrench. The directions are clear and the pieces fit together with moderate stretching around. It is very helpful to have a second person, when placing the burner on top and when fitting the reflector to its bracket.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DrBob Very Good Buy
This is a second order quality patio heater since the metal parts are not strong stainless steel, but tinny bronze-colored metal, but it does work well and throws heat at angles from the tilting top plate. It takes about 2 hrs to assemble with clear instructions, lights easily, and moves okay on its wheels. For the price it is a very good buy.

I bought this heater in December and set it up immediately but could not get it to light. I contacted the manufacturer in hopes of getting help. It took over a month to get a response from customer service but eventually I was told they would send me a new part. Early March I still had not received anything so I contacted them again and I was told the part shipped. Over three months after buying the heater and I still don't have the new part. I now have HD customer support trying to help me and last I heard they cannot reach the company. I am surprised Home Depot does business with this company.

This item was easy to put together even though it was missing one nut to complete the task.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Heater Works Great - Trash the Cover
Unit was fairly straight forward to assemble. Overall it heats up and works just fine - keeps everyone toasty.
The cover that comes with it - STINKS !!! Zipper failed on the 3rd use. Bought a cover from Amazon.
Overall recommend the unit - just trash the cover and avoid the pain.
