I'm working on a concaved strip mirror for reflecting a fan-shaped light, and need a flexible, highly reflective material. Essentially I want to bend this into a C shape. How much will this flex before breaking?

Thanks!

I would not recommend using one piece to try to make it into a C shape or a smile, it is not pliable enough for that. You can buy tiny glass pieces for crafts at Michaels and those would make an awesome C when glued in the right places!

How do you go over the existing plastic mounting clips that hold the mirror, at the edges, to wall? These strips look like the are mounted flush on the mirrors edges.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Open the Package when you get the delivery I had ordered 2 pieces a 60" and a 48". The 60" was perfect and it did the job. The 48" in the orignal packaging was all scratched, didn't have the protective cover etc. It can be disappointing because this is only available online and you wait 4 days and when you get home you find out it is not proper. HD was good and took the return, but it delays the project. August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Acrylic mirror strips Its good to fix darkened mirrors but doesn't last long before you have to replace, just a quick fix June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by looks like cheap plastic These look like cheap plastic that one sticks to the edge of the mirror. Not nearly as nice as in photos. May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by very satisfied with product seems a bit expensive for what you get, but the Mirredge strips are much more cost effective than other framing ideas, and they are very attractive March 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked & looked great for my need This product worked perfectly for what I needed it for, which was to align the outside of a mirrored backsplash that had chipped. It covered it perfectly and gave it a more custom look. This is not a glass mirror, but a flexible, cuttable product which mimics a glass mirror very well. I ordered the beveled edge & am glad I did - I feel the bevel contributed to a more custom look which was the end result. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I needed to give my old mirrors a facelift! The product was a great value, arrived in a timely fashion, was easy to work with and install and provided a bright new look for my old mirrors. This trim was an integral part of my bathroom makeover with a lot less expense and labor than I would have faced with mirror replacement. Those ugly, blackening mirror edges are now a thing of the past! The results of this project exceeded my expectations! April 24, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disaster. Management and employee at Home Depot save the day I used an adhesive on the mirror trim as recommended on the website by other purchasers. A Home Depot employee found the adhesive he thought would work best. 48 hours later the adhesive had burned through the mirror finish onto the front of the trim. I went to Home Depot and spoke to manager Edmond Verrette. He wanted photos that I had with me, made copies of my transaction and began to investigate to find the correct solvent. Edmond Verrette found the correct adhesive and tested it before sending his employee, Charles Morris, out to remove the damaged trim and attach the new trim. Mr. Morris did a wonderful job of changing out the trim. Disaster averted. My pleasure with the management of Home Depot is enormous. Edmond Verrette made a angry and frustrated do-it yourselfor into a life long happy customer. I would use this product with caution. I was very lucky to find management that stood by a product they sold! July 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Acrylic Mirror Strips, great to use. Have used these strips on most of the mirrors in the house. The are great when the edges of the mirrors begin to lose their lamination and the edges turn black. Very easy to work with and using the corner pieces allows you to not have to cut exact measurements. You just have to score the strip and snap it off to the proper length. I did have a problem when I tried to do an angle cut, but I am not great with a hacksaw. June 30, 2015
