I needed to replace a large bathroom mirror that the backing was failing on. These had to be original mirrors from 1965.
I wasn't too keen on replacing that large of a mirror by myself. Five feet wide and 4 foot high. I took the old one down with the help of a friend.
I purchased 2 mirrors that were a little less than 2 1/2 feet by 4 feet. I used the mirror frame strip between the 2 mirrors at the center point. Put it down first and installed the mirrors over it so it was sunk down. Does that mirror look sharp!
Be aware that there is a thin plastic film over the mirror strips. Remove this after you have it installed. I couldn't tell that it wasn't mirror. Great product. Very happy with the end result.

I was a little scared to do this myself - what a wuss! It was so easy to measure, score, and snap the pieces to size. I have an oversized mirror (79 x 42) so I got the 60" set (4 pieces plus the glue and the knife scorer) plus another 60" pair of strips. I got the corner covers and one set of seam covers. Even though I made a separate purchase of Liquid nails LN-700 - I didn't need it because the "kit" adhesive was more than enough. The entire project - except for cleaning the mirror - took about an hour - but I took my time and laid everything out first. I am really pleased with this product. My mirror looks great now!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Deevo Perfect solution as an alternative to replacing or trimming large mirrors.
Had a bathroom mirror, 48" wide with water damage along the bottom. Too small an area to effectively remove by cutting and not enough to warrant replacement. Product covered the damage without looking cheap.

Easy to use and more attractive than wood look product I have used before. Had to reattach mirror with adhesive tape due to the plastic clips and metal clips being too thick for this to go over. Only used adhesive for install of this strip (not adhesive squares) and looks great. Adhesive took awhile to cure but a little painters tape overnight kept everything in place. Score well and snap close to avoid jags. I had one missnap but with effort and luck mostly corrected. o

Ihave a large 4'x5' mirror in my master bath that was turning black on all 4 sides. I didn't want to spend the money to replace it yet and found these strips in the store.
I installed it myself (REALLY easy) and it looked great! It looked as though it was part of the original mirtror. I didn't use the corner pieces and it blended beautifully. You do need to be careful to measure perfectly before you score it.

This does not look like glass trim, it's thin and the cut edges aren't polished. That said, it does dress up the mirror and is priced appropriatly

Great product..easy to use, we bought the white 60" kit. New mirror hangers were a little challenge to hide, I recomend masking and painting the edges of the mirror before starting. We are extremely satisfied.
