Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sebastian good product with minor issue.
This is a powerful JUMPSTART SYSTEM WITH BUILT-IN 110-VAC INVERTER AND AIR COMPRESSOR.
The Charging is done with DC power adaptor or DC from Automobile. It will not tell you when it is fully charged. (No indicator light to show that it has been charged)

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ichiban365 Worked OK but poorly thought out features
It has some good features, like a place to store the jumper cables and a USB port. But it has some negatives. When I turned on the inverter, I found that it has a very noisy fan to cool the inverter. This is annoying. If a fan Is needed, it should be thermostatically controlled. In a power outage, if I am running nothing more than a laptop, the fan is probably draining the battery faster than the laptop. The fan is the reason why I would not recommend this unit, nor would I buy it again.
You have to choose between the inverter and the USB port, so again in a power outage I cannot use my laptop and charge my cell phone at the same time. If it had two USB ports, I could use a tablet and charge my phone, but it only has one.
The work light is not especially useful. Other units have detachable work lights, or at least flexible or rotatable lights.
I second a previous comment about nowhere to store the power cube, especially as it is a generic power supply with no marking to tie it to this unit.
The charging LED is red whenever the charger is plugged in. It would be helpful if it turned green when the unit was fully charged.

This is the same jump start system the roadside service company that came out to give me a jump used so I bought my own. I also bought one for each of my kids. My son needed to use it once, late at night after a concert. He said it started the car right away and within a few minutes, he was on the road. I've used it to inflate tires and my daughter has used hers to help a friend whose battery died at work. I think I got my money's worth and would buy again in a heartbeat. They are invaluable for a parent's peace of mind when kids start to drive on their own.
Make sure it's fully charged or else it won't do anything.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hugh17 Nice Unit With Many Features
I will only give this "6N1 Instant Boost" unit a 4 star rating because I haven't used all it's features at this time. I selected this unit because of the additional 110 volt Inverter feature. I've used it to charge an iPad and pump up a bicycle tire. Both these features work well. The quality appears to be very good. The LED emergency light is sufficient. I like that the charger cables, and air hose pack away so nicely. The unit comes with an array of charging cable, so it's possible to charge from an AC receptacle or a cigarette changer in the car. Thumbs up so far!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Iowaguy Versatile product
Great looking, does a lot of things, have not used all options yet. Love the fact that this unit will be handy in the case of power outages. Only drawback is wish it had more cranking amps. I tried to jump a battery that ( turnes out had 2 bad cells ) and it could only turn engine over but not start it. AAA came out with what he said was a 1500 amp jump start battery and it started but then died on me 4 mins. later. Take what you want from this one experience keeping in mind my battery was shot. All in all happy with the purchase.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mechanic Not a good product
I am in the process of returning this jump starter. I am an automobile mechanic, and my wife purchased this jump starter for me when my old one stopped charging after using it for several years. This jump starter only successfully jumped one car. I followed the directions and charged the battery for 36 hours prior to using it, but the performance was still very poor.

I'm a 65 year old female and had never jump started a car battery before. I just followed the instructions in the manual for the Power 400 and got my car up and running on the first try. Very cool.
