The Modine 86,000 BTU Horizontal-Mount Steam/Hot Water Ceiling Heater features top and bottom supply and return connections that permit 360° rotation without piping alterations. This ceiling heater provides built-in thermal overload protection and a copper tube coil for greater water carrying capacity with low friction loss.

This unit is a heat distribution devise. It is installed in conjunction with a hot water or steam boiler which provides it with hot heating water or steam. The boiler could be running on oil, gas, propane etc. This unit does not consume fuel itself, other than the electrify that turns the fan.
