Product Overview

Home Armor E-Z Deck and Fence Wash clean and brightens decks and wood fences without the need for scrubbing. The hose end delivers a powerful spray to remove dirt and debris. The bleach-based formula is 2X stronger than other hose ends to effectively remove stains caused by mold, mildew and algae. The E-Z Deck Wash hose end delivers a higher concentration of cleaning surfactants to penetrate deep into the porous surfaces of wood and composite materials. The wide spray pattern is perfect for horizontal surfaces.

  • Spray on, wait 10 minutes, rinse off, it's that easy
  • Works on decks, fences, composite finishes, PVC, resurfaced finished, playground equipment and more
  • Cleans up to 800 sq. ft.
  • Convenient hose end sprayer allows you to pressure wash your deck using your own garden hose
  • Refill using E-Z deck & fence wash gal.
  • For non-porous surfaces like vinyl siding use E-Z house wash hose end

Yes. You just have to spray down any plants in the spray area prior to using the product and then again after you use it.

I wouldn't use it where it would get on edible foods, but it can be used near other plants as long as you rinse the plants before and after use.

I would stick to composite and wood. There is a similar product to be used on vinyl siding.

The Deck and Fence Wash can be used on anything that bleach is safe on, so it's good for bare wood, vinyl, brick and concrete surfaces.

Answer:
No, the Deck & Fence Wash is too strong for roofs. Try the E-Z House Wash instead. It's safe for the roof as long as it's rinsed off well in 5-10 minutes.

Hello Joey!
Thank you for your question! I wouldn't recommend the deck and fence wash, but the Mold Armor House Wash will work for your roof.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.9 out of 5 by 79 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hard working product Application of the product was as simple as could be. Did what it claimed would happen, and the building on which it was used had suffered mightily over many years of neglect. Not really effective on the most stubborn mildew stains unless scrubbing followed a second application. The only issue I have with the product is the area that is claimed to be covered; in the working situation, it treated about 50% of what was claimed. So, instead of 4 containers, we had to use eight. But, it worked pretty well and I would not hesitate to use it on my own residence. July 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK for general cleaning Works OK for general cleaning/brightening, but if you are preparing for paint/stain don't waste your money. Buy stronger chemical! July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleaner Worked very well sprayed on and let set , some areas needed scrubbing but looks like new wood June 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed Used this on a fence with a fair amount of mold and it did very little. Pressure washer is the way to go over the chemical cleaners. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by deck wash i felt this product wored very well on my white wood railing . id definetly recommend this productj July 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not the same as it ever was I have been using the same company's Home Armor Deck and Fence Wash for several years. I have not needed to do the cleaning every year, but I've used the product at least 3 or 4 times over the past 7 or 8 years. That was a product that I put right into my sprayer without diluting. It took 7 or 8 containers to do my whole deck, two sets of stairs and rails, but it worked really well. Really well. This year, it was no longer available, only the Mold Armor Deck and Fence Wash, and only in the hose hookup sprayer form. It sucks. It's horrible. I hate it. I'm using the word "hate" here - about a deck-wash. It sprays with the consistency and focus of a shaken-up and exploding soda can, and it blows through the product very quickly, not covering (well) even half of the 800 sq ft claimed. Unlike the old product that I would spray on, leave for 10 minutes and then rinse off - well, this has the same instructions, but you're constantly blasting the deck with gallons of water so you're constantly washing it off while you're trying to apply it. Additionally, the spray is so wide and inconsistent and so forceful that you really can't spray a railing without spraying your house, the neighbor's house, the dog, the car in front of the house (okay not really that bad, but I had to check). Disaster. Never again. June 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by didn't work well this time I paid cash so I cant be a verified purchase, you'll have to trust me. I've used this 4 other times with good results. The last time I used it on the same deck it barely did anything if it did anything less it would have done nothing. I followed directions and scrubbed. Not sure why but I have a feeling its been watered down to save cash. June 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor product Does not work as advertised... Would not buy again.... Actually it did not work at all... June 5, 2016
