Answer:
Hello, Desperate, yes, you can order replacement blades under Monte Carlo model number 131-218. We send all 5 blades and recommend replacing all 5 blades to maintain the balance of the fan and reduce the risk of wobbling or noise.

Another buyer said that with an adapter, you can change the mini-halogen bulb for an LED. But what size LED? And can it still be dimmed with the remote? Thanks!

I didn't install this fan myself. It has been working great for 3 years, however, unfortunately the light bulb just burnt out and no matter what i try I can't get access to the bulb to change it out.

Answer:
Hello, rebmac, you would need to twist the glass counterclockwise until it is released, change the bulbs, then attach glass by locating dimples in light fixture with the groves in glass and twisting clockwise till tight.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan! I bought this fan for my master bedroom. I had it professionally installed. So far it looks nice and works well. April 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan, cruddy light Fan itself is very easy to install. Beware: if you're going to buy the universal controller from HD it's a huge pain to fit the receiver in the fan's canopy. It can be done but it's very difficult. The bulb that comes with the fan is barely above a nightlight (it's a 75w halogen mini) so you'll want to pick up an LED (with converter because it's a mini). Overall a quality fan, mine is silent with no vibrations or hums or anything and moves a ton of air. September 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfied so far! Fans have not been installed long enough to give an excellent rating. They are both working well so far, move a goodly amount of air, and look nice except for the screws that show where the down rod is attached to the body of the fan. Because of the design of the fan and the length of the down rod (which I think should be about 2" shorter like my other fans) the screws really show - bad design flaw. I will replace the really unattractive pull chains. Had trouble with a hum initially, but replacing the dimmer switch with a regular switch took care of that. I wanted good quality plain white fans for my living room and dining area with pull chains and did not have many choices - most have gone to remote controls. These are not quite what I wanted, but are satisfactory and seem like decent quality. I really think a shorter down rod and covering the screws would have made a more attractive fan. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. September 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by If you want a fan with simple clean lines, this is it Replaced the 75W Halogen lamp with a 6.5w LED, required an adapter as the Halogen is a "mini"-Candelabra. Relatively easy to install, works good and looks great. Wish it had a remote rather than the chains. I had a 4th wire from my switch to the box so I put a double switch in the location and separated the light and fan functions. Only need to use the chain to change speed of the fan now. May 24, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking but humming I liked the way this fan looks! I even purchased the LED panel to replace CFL bulb. Installation was smooth and the air movement created is more than sufficient. Unfortunately the fan motor is producing loud humming noise. I do mind it. August 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan! This is a super value! Looks beautiful, very quiet, nice slow speed to gently move the air, and it was reasonably priced. I had an electrician install it so I can't review the ease of installation. March 24, 2015
