Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT GOOD Purchased as a direct replacement for an existing unit. Read the reviews and saw one that said the remote photocell did not work. Should have listened. Mine arrived and the photocell does not work. Additionally it was silver versus the black I ordered. I will give the manufacturer credit. Called and they immediately shipped me a replacement. They said they had changed Chinese suppliers and many units had missed the painting step. Still to install the replacement unit. They clearly have a quality control problem. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Power Pack The power pack was very easy to mount and program into operation. Only in operation a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. January 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Filled my need Easy to connect and high wattage made this the right transformer for me. No clock timer. January 5, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Remote light sensor does not work The unit looks good and has good construction. We installed it inside the garage with remote light sensor placed outside the garage, The lights did not come on at Dusk automatically. Always on worked. Net is that we returned the unit for Homedepot, Malibu 200 Watts transformer. It worked very well in the first instance itself and has additional features, example, on at dusk and turns off at a specific time as an option (in addition to interval turn off). Difficult to reach anyone for support. Left messages with no return call. When lucky, one lady answers just to say that the product is from China and they are just the distributors. I do not recommend this product. July 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moonrays Outdoor 300w Power Pack So far (been using for about a month) it does as advertised. Easy to install (they all are) and I love the photo cell on a wire config. This way you do not have to be super close to an outlet. Good price too! October 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this thing! I have several Malibu low voltage transformers and none if them are nearly as easy to use and durable as this one. Programming it is SO simple. I had it hooked up, programmed and working in about 15 minutes. The Malibu has to be reset everyone there is a power outage or at every daylight savings time change. The little plastic pegs are a pain and the color designation for off/on is backward. I recommend giving this a try if you're in the market for a new transformer or more wattage. August 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great The device controls are very easy and it works great. The remote sensors needs to be hiddened from outdoor lighting to prevent unwanted activation. The terminal for connection of the light wiring is too small and limited to a single terminal. It should allow for connection of several wires. January 7, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by In serious need of quality control The power pack showed up with nuts rattling around inside the casing. I had to disassemble the casing and put all of the nuts in place. I'm pretty sure bad things would have happened if I had just hooked it up and plugged it in. Once I overhauled the unit and installed it, it has worked as advertised. It operates quietly. It would be nice to be able to turn off or cover up the lighted display. August 28, 2012
