------ If you want to have something for you to "play" with your children with then go ahead and buy
------ If you are a professional that will use these on a regular basis, daily, and need them to work daily
for more than just a couple of months.... then DON'T waste your money.
------ You need to go get a real radio and it's going to cost you $250 + each.
------ These are truly junk !
------ We purchased 20, 2-packs of these and they are all trash ! The clips as well will not last you
more than 2 weeks before they break.
------ Don't say you haven't been told and warned.

I was expecting these radio's to work great for hunting and riding 4 wheelers. The package say's "35 mile range" in bold print but in small print on the back they say "1/2 to 1 mile range".
You might get 1/2 to 1 mile on open water where you can see each other but in the woods we could not get over 1/4 mile. Not sure how they came up with 35 mile but they will not even get close.
Radios were priced right and had some nice features but as far as being a good working radio, they score a fat zero from me.

I've purchased a lot of Motorola radios. The appearance is good but I get alot of them that have a short shelf life. They work when you first get them but then start having issues soon after. Of the two I now own. 1-works fine but the other shuts its self off after a period of time. I was informed by Motorola customer service that I use them more often than they were intended and I need to purchase commercial radios.

I needed portable radios with a long range and these fit my needs perfectly. Terrain will effect range but still reaches out like I needed. Being able to set up codes to make conversations private is a nice feature.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JustChillin Rugged, but range is far less than advertised.
Radio is rugged and easy to use. Range on open water at the river was less than 1 mile. Quit communicating while still in sight of friends on the bank.
