Can I use this to remove graffiti on fences?

Asked by: Luna
It did not work to remove the graffiti on my tan vinyl fence. I can't speak for any other type of fence. The graffiti had letters and words, nothing solid or colored, and dark black ink, probably spray paint. At best, it kinda of just smeared it after MUCH scrubbing. I got a power washer and used water to get some off. I still have yet to find something other than gasoline that really works.

Can I use this on steel siding?

Our steel siding is tan, and I accidentally sprayed some red spray paint on 2 panels. Not solid coverage, about fist-sized, but definitely noticeable. (My husband will absolutely flip out when he sees it!!) #1 Do you think it will remove color from the siding? #2 Do you think it will leave a different finish on the siding, perhaps removing the sheen? I'm a little desperate. If I can find a solution at least my husband may cool off quicker! Thank you!

Can it be used to remove spray paint from fiberglass golf cart? Will it damage fiber glass?

Asked by: heather
Yes, you can use this product on a fiber glass surface. However, it is always recommended that you first test in an inconspicuous area to check for color fastness. Remember, to follow instructions to limit the application time (1-3 minutes) and avoid any drippage.

It's a 6 foot chain link with vinyl/plastic privacy slats in two colors. The painted area was quite large. I was very concerned about damage to the vinyl slats and coating on the links. I used LIftoff to remove the paint and was hugely impressed. The spray paint pretty much wiped right off with paper towel. Zero damage to the underlying fence, left original colors unchanged. It took less than one bottle to remove the entire mess. THANK YOU!

Had my car painted at a nationwide chain and when I got it back, there was green paint over-spray here and there on the Saab Aero wheels. They had an "off" and uneven green glow. So I found this Motsenbocker's Lift Off #4 Spray Paint Graffiti Remover at Home Depot and it works wonderfully. I followed the instructions, left the spray on for 60 seconds then wiped clean with a new white terry towel, then washed with clean water. For some spots I did a second application. Now the wheels sparkle like new!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME PRODUCT My car was vandalized with spraypaint. This product took the graffiti right off. On the lighter areas it came right off with one application. In heavier areas it took 2-3 applications. You can not tell there was anything sprayed on my car!

I ran out of "spray can" base coat for my 2002 Land Rover and decided I would use a small artist paint brush to make use of what was left in the "paint can" to touch up a few areas and then sand it down. BAD IDEA! It did not go on smoothly at all and after 5 minutes of careful sanding on a small portion of the touch-up areas it became obvious this was going to take forever and might also result in taking off the surrounding OLD clear and base coats. So I went to home depot again and Jackie from paints pointed out Motsenbocker's Graffitee Remover right away. It was the only product that explicitly stated it takes new paint off without touching the old paint on an "auto". So I went right home and applied it to the NEW base coat I had brushed on and it came right off with just a little bit of rubbing. Unfortunately, I had brushed the paint over some new clear coat as well and so the Motsenbocker's took a little bit of that off too. Considering the alternative, that was just fine with me. Saved me a huge amount of work with the buffer and sandpaper.
