I have purchased this coffee maker twice in the past two years. The first one stopped working after about 10 months. It just stopped working. There was power to the unit but it wouldn't brew. I liked the overall functionality of the maker so I went out an purchased the exact same unit again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened after just over a year. Both models were the same and used daily. My Keurig, which is plugged into the same outlet has had no problems for 3 years and is used about 1-2 times per week for specialty coffees. Not sure what the problem is with the Mr. Coffee model, but I will probably buy a different brand for my daily use coffee maker.

Purchased to use for the office. One of the main features I was looking for was auto shut off. So far this has exceeded our expectations.

Recived this as a birthday present, My old coffeemaker was on its last pot after 5 years of use. This maker is very easy to program, and even lets me select the brew.I opened this and made a pot of coffee right away. I followed the steps to set up, washing the unit. I like that this has a filter and a basket. The coffee was fresh and hot. I have set the program to make my coffee in the morning. Mr. Coffee you did it again, a great unit alot of class. Thanks

This is my second of these coffee makers in 12 monnths. Silly me. The first was purchased in June of last year and woke up one morning on a freezing cold winter morning to no coffee. Dead. Nothing. Bought another because I loved the ease of use and the features and thought the first was just a fluke. Woke up this morning 6 months later to NO COFFEE. Not a good start to any day. Won't make the mistake a third time.

We have owned 3 "Mr. Coffee" coffee makers. The first was/is model # TFX20 which we have owned for many years and it still works fine. My only complaint is that the decanter tends to drip and spill coffee so you have to be very careful when pouring a cup. This coffee maker has become a back-up over the last 6 years.
We purchased a model # JWX31 two years ago and it only lasted approximately 1 1/2 years.......it would not start the percolation process. We liked the coffee maker very much until it failed. We liked the coffee maker enough that we decided to purchase our current unit and similar model # JWX36RR last November 2015 when it was on sale. After only 7 months of use, approximately 2 times daily, it has now failed.......it will not start the percolation process. It appears to me (a retired electrical/electronics engineer) that the heating/control components have very poor reliability and quality. At least I still have a back-up. I love that first cup of coffee in the morning.

I bought this coffee maker 6 months ago, and every morning the programing feature was wonderful, till just a few days ago it just stopped working. Turn it on and it just beeps, its clean and clear, but wont heat the plate or the water. Just beeps three times.

We bought a black and chrome 12 cup pot with additional water filtering assembly. Has many control features and even a clean coffee pot reminder. I liked it so much,I looked up Mr. Coffee on Google and found ourpot. I instantly purchased another because this one is truly our favorite. When we have used it up, we will have another one ready to take over it's duties. Also,it really looks GOOD!
