Purchased to use for the office. One of the main features I was looking for was auto shut off. So far this has exceeded our expectations.

I have purchased this coffee maker twice in the past two years. The first one stopped working after about 10 months. It just stopped working. There was power to the unit but it wouldn't brew. I liked the overall functionality of the maker so I went out an purchased the exact same unit again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened after just over a year. Both models were the same and used daily. My Keurig, which is plugged into the same outlet has had no problems for 3 years and is used about 1-2 times per week for specialty coffees. Not sure what the problem is with the Mr. Coffee model, but I will probably buy a different brand for my daily use coffee maker.

Hi, I received the Mr. Coffee® Advanced Brew 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker Red/Stainless (JWX36-NP) for Christmas in 2014. For a year I left it in its box since I had another coffee maker, so I started using it last March. I loved it for it worked flawlessly and produced great strong brewed coffee. Last Saturday I loaded it with water and coffee and pushed the button but nothing happened, no brewing, no lights, and not showing the time. It just upped and died after 6 months of usage. From your website I see that others have also had this problem. Is there something you can do?

After buying this online, I read the reviews. What a mistake. I worried until the day it arrived and when it did, I immediately set it up. It looked awesome. Starting using it the very next day and it works great. It's been several weeks now and I use it daily with no problems. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones, but I would recommend this to anyone.

I loved everything about this coffeemaker, easy to use, easy to clean and it shuts itself off. It's a really nice coffeemaker. Unfortunately, it literally stopped working this morning, just out of the blue. It doesn't brew and the hot plate doesn't heat up. Reading the reviews it would seem this particular model has this problem. We've only had it a year and a half and I didn't get my coffee this morning, unhappy me.

I still have my OLD Mr. Coffee which I still love but it is very old and the burner is beat up as well as the outside (Had it for years). Decided it was time for a new BASIC Mr Coffee with auto turn off after two hours. This was always the most important feature for me because I would sometimes forget to turn it off if I was running out the door. The GREAT thing about the old one was IF after 2 hours there was coffee left you could turn it BACK ON for an additional 2 hours and keep it warm. I LOVED IT. The new ones will NOT allow you to do that so if you dont drink the amount you brewed within 2 hours, you have to reheat in the microwave. This is STUPID and I am taking this thing back and keeping my old one til it dies and will NOT buy another Mr Coffee again
