Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great heater I got this mainly for camping. I have a large dome tent that I use and when I camp in colder weather, I take my heater along. I am so glad I had this with me the one time we were out and the temperature dipped to the low 30's. I was using the one pound canisters and it actually had my tent so warm so fast I had to turn it off after just a few minutes. I was comfortable all night. Can't say as much for the other campers at the state park. Since then I have added a 20 pound propane tank and 12 foot hose. If you go that route I strongly suggest getting a filter. That will save and prolong the life of the heater. This heater is also used in power outages at home. Great product. April 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this heater A friend bought this little heater for me last winter, I have electric heat in my apt which is very expensive, the building I live in is old, made of brick & has no insulation with old drafty windows so keeping warm in the winter without spending a fortune is a huge problem for me, this heater is amazing, within minutes of turning it on my living room is comfortably warm. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice little heater for emergencies Nice heater works great. Heated up about 500sq ft to 65*when the power was out for a week though not that cold upper 20's at night. get over 4 hrs on high out of a little can. need to by an adapter to run 20lb tank I thought it was included by the way they made it sound. $75 a little steep 40 to 50 would be better. Would not leave it running while sleeping even though they say it as a O2 sensor. I would just put it in the bedroom for 45 min before bed and get it up to 80+ before bed November 23, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product This is one useful product, a must have to survive power outages and loss of heating. I chose this unit over its bigger brother as it provides adequate heating for a small to medium room and provides longer usage hours. The build quality is very good and its very easy to use. I'd recommend getting the 5 ft extension hose from Mr.Heater and connect it to a 20lb propane tank for more than 72 hrs of non-stop heating. Very thoughtful safety features made me choose it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Green house heat My wife and I were looking for a heater for our 800 sq ft green house to get it through the winter. We turned to this efficient little tag a long and it works fine. We added a hose to make it work off a 20# tank and it last for 3 days. Although the temp in the green house only rose to 40 degrees; that was all we were looking for. When the over night lows were in the 20 degree range, this little heater did just what we wanted; kept everything from freezing! November 26, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grate product I have 2 of these units and use them all of the time while working in unheated places.. They are a grate small unit that makes my work comfortable .. They don't use a lot of gas if used on low... I found one in a trash pile and snatched it up,, all that it needed was to clean out the pilot tube with some alcohol and a small Q-tip.. This unit has worked for 6 years now... I do recommend using the filter on your hose... December 8, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good emergency heater I bought this for emergencies - if the power went out and I needed heat. Though I haven't used it long term I did test it out. I like that it uses the small propane tanks that are cheap, easy to buy anywhere, and easy to store. I really didn't want to deal with kerosine and this was the only indoor heater I could find that used propane. Though it does't say on the box you can hook this up to a 20lb refillable propane tank - FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY - if you buy an extra attachment hose. It describes that in the instructions. I like the safely features. Its small yet puts out good heat. Easy to move even when its on. It runs very quiet. The only downside I found was that I expected it to start quicker - more similar to a propane stove or grill. You have to hold the knob down for 30 seconds to let the line fill with propane, then turn the knob to ignite the pilot, then wait another 30 seconds to turn on and and adjust the heat. Not a big deal, just slower than I thought. Would still recommend. January 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heater was easy to use and starts up every time with ease. Bought this small heater for my back patio for my husband to warm his feet while watching football. What I love is that it cranks up every time and it's ease of use........ unlike my BIG patio heater which is a pain to start. This little one is great even though doesn't heat as much area.
