3 ft. - 6 ft. Adjustable Extension Pole is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from good before it broke Used it to paint a few rooms. It was handy and did what it was suppose to do. But the mechanism was not reliable, some times work ok, sometimes very difficult to get it to work. Now it doesn't work at all. I had to tape it at a certain length in order to use it. I have, in effect, nothing more than an expensive broom stick.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for light use Wanted extension pole for wall painting; used it successfully for 2 walls & 1 room. It was OK for roller painting. It was a bit quirky tp twist & extend/shorten, as it wouldn't always lock/unlock. However this year used it to roller paint a 10'x14' concrete lanai. Used minimal pressure when rolling 2 coats, but when finished, it wouldn't unlock. Interior pole twists tightly, but stays locked slightly exstended & won't adjust. You get what you pay for . . .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken on first day Plastic length adjuster stripped out of pole during first use. Was quite surprised, an adjustable shower curtain rod could probably take more torque than this thing. When they say light duty they mean it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke on first use Extended the pole to the height I needed and twisted it to lock it. But, it just kept twisting and twisting and twisting... Returning it now. Home Depot shouldn't carry such junk!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money threaded connection is plastic--broke after minimal use, adjuster design makes rod difficult to tighten at small or no extension JUNK!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality similar experience as another reviewer: first time I went to adjust the length, the adjustment insert snapped inside the rod, rendering it useless. I did not use excessive force in attempting this adjustment. It is a poor quality device and provides no value (since it cannot be used for its intended purpose).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Idea for Short People!@ I'm 5'2; perfect for short people to paint upper walls and ceilings!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broken, Will Return It for Replacement Well, when I tried to extend it the first time, it came apart, with the mechanism that does the loosening/tightening remaining stuck in the handle section. Oh well. I wound up using the bottom half to do my deck restoration. Worked perfectly. It is very sturdy and withstood the pressure of me pushing the roller onto the deck. I really like it and will return it for replacement so I can keep it. I think it was a minor manufacturing issue that will resolve itself when I return it. No problem.
