Great painting extension pole adjusts to any length you need. It's sturdy even when set to very long lengths. The paint roller screws firmly onto the end of the pole.

I use this pole for putting up exterior Christmas lights. Works very well with a custom hook to hold lights. When fully extended there is quite a bit of wobble and bend, more than with an older bamboo pole I had been using but not enough to hamper use. This may be a problem when using it to paint. Much easier to tighten then loosen as I needed a set of pliers to get a strong enough grip to loosen the locks. This was my fault as I assumed I needed to exert lots of pressure to make sure the pole stayed locked, not so much.

The pole is plenty long but will not clamp tight to hold the right length. Very disappointed

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Phil Worked well, until it broke!
I have used the Mr. Longarm 23 ft. pole to clean my metal roof and solar panels for about a year, and it worked well until one of the aluminum extension tubes kinked - rendering the pole unusable. The pole flexes quite a bit (especially at full extension) because of it's lightweight design. When partially extended, it is much more rigid, which makes your work easier. Be careful not to apply too much of a bending load or the aluminum tubes will kink.
I contacted the manufacturer to try to replace the bad section, and they told me that they do not sell replacement tubes. They told me to take it back to Home Depot and plead my case, even though the warranty is only for 90 days. I'll try to replace it, and be more gentle next time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 54321a Great for tree saw
I needed a 20+ft. tree saw to trim palm trees but the Silky saws are ~$350. So I bought one of these and adapted the head of my Fiscars tree trimming saw using the handle of an old paint roller. It works great! Warning, the pole is not very rigid but palm fonds are soft and cut easily. This may not be strong enough to cut large deciduous tree branches as the saw blade may bind.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ed5150 weak at best
An extension pole is only as good as it's ability to actually do the function you are trying to do from the distance you are trying to compensate for. I purchased this to try to clean my roof shingles off from moss that had grown on them without having to go on my roof's northern exposure. Now mind you if I was simply trying to remove some snow, it may have worked ok, but as I was trying to actually clean a few shingles it did a poor job, due to the constant flexing of the pole.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Odin1955 Perfect for pole camera
I purchased this to build my own pole camera. This, with the adjustable head, and a home made camera mount made from an old paint-roller handle and a 2" x 1/4" bolt with a couple of nuts and some epoxy glue, plus a brand new Nikon Coolpix S9500 wifi camera, coupled with my Android. Perfect, and around $400 cheaper than the cheapest purpose built one 8ft shorter!
The plastic covered handle also gives good grip in all weathers.

Great extension pole. Too bad that I had to buy the bulb changing head separately as a kit (including a different pole) but both together work amazingly well. Simple design that works well on those hard to reach ceiling spot lights.
