Answer:
Check the actual shower head connection and see if there is a little rubber insert in-line that looks like a washer with about three holes in it. This is the flow restricter that can be removed with not implications except a higher flow of water.

Answer:
Hi Doc,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet does not recommend removing any part of the showerhead to increase the flow rate. We manufacture our showerheads to meet water flow regulations and it will void the warranty if the flow restrictor is removed.
Thanks.

I am replacing that model myself and it is obsolete and must be brought up to code with Deltas new universal mixer unit . The new mixer valve unit is NOT compatible with any older trim and Handel sets . You need to replace everything if you are replacing the mixer valve .

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Based on the description you gave, it sounds like you have 600 series faucet. These faucets are turned on by pushing up on your handle and then turning to the right or left for hot and cold. If this is the case, your ball assembly is metal now and is Delta Faucet model # RP70.
You may contact our Home Owner/Warranty line at 800-345-3358 if this is not your type of faucet.

Answer:
Hi Richard,
Delta makes replacement parts for all of their valves and here are several different balls.
The best bet is to take your old ball to your local Home Depot. The plumbing associates will assist you in selecting the correct replacement ball.

Hello Handyman123, Thank you for your question!
You will not be able to run a hand held, standard shower head and overhead all from the R10000-UNBX rough in valve alone. You will need a diverter in addition to the control valve such as our R11000. This only controls one head. It does not have separate controls. You would need separate controls for each type of head.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Had to have It works great with the universal delta parts we purchased. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well Easy to install. It was what was needed when installing new shower valve and head. June 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good but unneeded I bought this because I was installing a tile shower and after looking at trim pieces for the shower handle, concluded I needed to buy this separate because I found no mention of the valve being included with the trim. I also had to buy it online which was okay since I didn't need it for awhile. If needed in a pinch, it would of been a problem. After installing it and tiling the shower, I purchased the trim pieces I wanted for the handle and that's when I found out it was included with the set so buying this separately was unneeded. The product itself functioned perfectly but a mention of this valve being included with trim selections would be useful. Another note, If you are to buy this seperately, I would suggest buying the valve that includes the water shut offs included. I needed to finish my shower before I could sheetrock the back so I could turn the water on, it put my bathroom project a bit behind but that was my own fault. Regardless, good product but unless replacing it without needing the trim pieces, you'll find what you need with the trim set you like. Mine did atleast, can't confirm if it's with all trim sets. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice equipment Works great with regulating pressure and temperature. No problems so far. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended Necessity Simple installation as long as you have the right fittings. Not exactly for the typical DIY'er as it involves making 100% watertight plumbing connections. For remodel construction, fittings required will depend on your existing plumbing. I was able to use "Sharkbite" fittings to make the transition from existing tubing to threaded connections. More expensive to use the "Sharkbites" but much easier and less labor. October 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DELTA rough in valve body Well made machined casting. Good instructions make an easier installation, so many varibles on the jobsite make ease of install difficult to pin down. Easy to leak test before closing wall or shower surround. May 11, 2016
