Bought this a year ago, only got around to trying to put it up now. The color is nice, the finish is nice, it's all wood and fits the function I need it for.
Installation, however, is a mess. I attached the supports to the wall, two with wall-anchors, two into studs. The problem, as for many people who wrote here, is trying to screw the shelf to the supports. There are no pre-drilled pilot holes in the supports, the wood of the supports is hard, and the screws are soft. Too close to the wall to use a drill, so I was trying to get the screws in by hand - and both screwheads stripped in no time. Now they're so badly stripped that I cannot get them back out with the screwdriver. Will have to see if I can budge them by gripping from the sides with pliers, and will probably gouge up the wall in the process. If I can remove the screws, I plan to glue the shelf to the supports (I'm going to put something very lightweight on it), but at the moment it's stuck a quarter inch above the supports and looks awful, because I have positioned it high up so the underside is visible.
Also, the little cosmetic wooden screw-head covers won't stay in. Even if hammered, as soon as I start on the next one, the first one pops out. Will have to glue those, too.
I realize this only cost $15 (with shipping), but still. It's unfortunately that skimping on quality led to such a mess.

These look pretty nice when you take them out of the package but after that it was all downhill. Of six of that I purchased, one of the supports split and a quarter size chuck came out off, one was not square to fit in the corner properly, and every single screw to attach the shelf to the supports stripped the head of the screw. As for the screw heads stripping, I tried 2 different #2 Phillips head screwdrivers and a #1 Phillips head screwdriver. I also tried predrilling through the pre-drilled holes in the shelf into the supports, none of which helped with the screws. I had the best luck with a #2 bit in an 18V cordless drill.. After reading previous reviews, I decided to take a chance on whether they would be square and all but one were fairly close to square, so I mostly lucked out with that issue. As far as the support splitting, I used the pre-drilled guide hole in the shelf, and since it was only one out of 12, I figure there was probably a weak spot in the support for some reason or another. The directions tell you to use a 1/4 inch drill bit if you need to use the anchors included with the shelf. The hole drilled with a 1/4 inch bit is too big for the included anchors and the anchor will just turn with the screw. Either use a smaller bit or plan on purchasing larger anchors. In the end, I achieved the look I was going for and I am the only one who knows the screw aren't screwed in all the way, so if you can live with the imperfections then purchase these. They are, at least, a wooden shelf and not laminate or plastic.

Purchased a couple of these to hang above a corner cabinet. Shelf was pretty true to the color shown, and instructions on how to go about hanging the shelf was good. A few prior reviews mentioned problems installing the screw that anchors the shelf itself to the wall brace. This is real hardwood and that little bitty screw does not go in easily. When I had the shelf aligned with the wall brace I drilled a starter hole in the top of the wall brace so the screw would go in easily

The shelf installed easily however I did add a few screws to the top to make it feel a little sturdier. It is perfect size for holding a glass of water, glass case or what ever else you would like.

For what we needed, this product was perfect. Finish was nice, but unfortunately, we wanted white, so had to paint over it. Would definitely buy again. No problems with material, would be nice if was stocked in store.

Really beautiful and high-quality item. But I had to return it back because the color in the photo looked much darker than in reality. What a pity. but this shelf is better and cheaper than the items in the store.
