Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kidskaboodlenmore works great for our center speaker
We purchase this shelve at our local home depot store in the dark coffee brown tint. My husband put it up for me as soon as we arrived home, took him no longer than 30 to 45 min as most of the issues were finding the studs in our wall and some extra screws for more support, as it only came with 3. The construction of this shelve is pretty good. Its strong enough to hold a old heavy model center speaker and some more. I love the shelve and ordered a 60" one for over our fireplace.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by anonymousreviewer Stay away from this shelf!
I purchased this shelf for my son's room to place things on that we didn't want him playing with. When we opened up the shelf, there was a huge scratch down the bottom middle of it that we didn't notice until opening the shelf. We decided to install it anyways seeing as we do not live that close to a Home Depot to return it. Upon installing the shelf, it looks as if you were to put anything heavier than a stuffed animal on the shelf and it would just fall out of the wall. It already looks that way with just stuffed animals. And like other reviewers said, it is hollow and poor quality. Very poor design. DO NOT waste your money on this product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by knarf Poor Package Design - Corners Crush!
These shelves are a great concept, well designed installation technique and very attractive. However, the packaging and inferior material allow for corner crushing. I purchased six 48" white shelves and when I opened the packages, 5 of the six shelves had crushed corners. None of the packages showed any damage on the outside of the boxes. They did not appear to have been crushed at all. I believe that proper packaging could have prevented this problem. After the shelves are installed, I'm sure that the material would hold up well, however, they need to be protected for transit and handling. I'll be returning all the shelves today. The store has no additional shelves to replace these so I need to find a different manufacturer of similar shelves.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pedro Used to be great product with metal bracket, new wood support not good.
They changed the product and kept the same SKU number. The old product had a sturdy metal bracket that inserted into the shelf and provided great support. The new version has a flimsy wood bracket that only supports the back of the shelf. If this product doesn't return to the metal bracket, don't buy it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jball Easy installation but not sturdy.
The shelf looks good and is easy to install but the bracket does not provide enough support. Some screws were missing from the package but were received promptly in the mail after calling the customer support # on the instructions.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bluke133 Cheaply made, won't support much
If you are buying this to put a couple small candles on or picture frames above a couch or something this product is probably fine. But once assembled the shelf isn't very sturdy feeling so everyday use isn't a wise idea. I bought this as an entry way shelf for keys/purses/mail etc. I'm now nervous of setting anything on it. I found studs and the support board is firmly affixed to the wall. The shelf itself is only held to the support board by three screws that aren't very long, and the shelf portion they go through is thin so it doesn't seem to provide much support.
Beyond that the shelf I received was scratched in the box. The box is in good condition though so it was packaged this way as their is nothing in the box that could of scratched it.
The back side of the shelf (butts against the wall) was not planer either so I had to do some sanding to get it to be flush to the wall to prevent from seeing the wood support board through the crack between the wall and the shelf.
I'll likely add some L brackets for support and it'll be just fine. But if I wanted that style of shelf I wouldn't have went for a floating design.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Aesthetics only
This shelf, while aesthetically pleasing (after going through 3 of the 4 that I bought to find one that wasn't damaged) is so flawed for use as shelving that it serves no purpose. The shelf is entirely hollow and made of fiberboard top and bottom and 1" lateral support. I installed one shelf (with molly anchors into plaster) and the internal support simply isn't designed to hold weight of any significance. I placed one text book on it (maybe 6 pounds) and the front end of the shelf dropped over half an inch! Avoid at all costs.
