This question may have already been answered but I want to make sure that the AT2 can be used in a load center that only lists AT. Want to make sure that this is code compliant

Answer:
Hi LB,
Yes, the MP-AT2 which is the new generation of our AFCI circuit breakers would also be approved for your panel.

Answer:
Hi Pam,
The pigtail on the breaker would attach to your neutral bar in your panel. My recommendation to you would be to consult a professional electrician as working in your breaker box can be dangerous work if you are not familiar with the process. Another option is to speak to an associate in the electrical department at your local Home Depot.

Answer:
Hello,
The MP-AT2 is the second generation of our Murray Combination Arc Fault circuit breakers. Both versions should meet your local electrical code, however the 2nd generation provides a 1/4 in. more wire bending space for ease of installation.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CAFI Breaker Breaker fit properly and was clearly marked for correct termination. The neutral bus bar pigtail was sufficiently long enough to make the connection. This revised version makes the connection for both the hot and neutral leads easier. The location of the diagnostic LEDs is easier to observe. It would be recommended that Siemens would UL rate its Siemen line of breakers to be used in Murray Panels (which are made by Siemens) if they are indeed the same. These breakers appear to have the same part nos. and construction and do install in the Murray panel. It doesn't make sense to market the same product under 2 different name brands! August 13, 2014
